Description
This mod adds The Afsharids to the game as a playable civilization. This mod requires the Brave New World expansion (DLC).

Introduction
The Afsharid Empire was established by its first and greatest leader, Nader Shah Afshar. Being of Turkish origin, his tribe was resettled in Persia during the preceding Safavid Dynasty. Nader Shah grew up during the disintegration of this dynasty. After initially serving as the commander of the Safavid armies, Nader Shah deposed the last Shah after the latter grew jealous of his general's military successes. Nader Shah was a brilliant general, having only lost one major battle. He was also quite narcissistic and became increasingly paranoid during his last years. Nevertheless, he posed a major threat to the Ottomans, Mughals, and pretty much any neighbouring state. Persia would reach its greatest extent since the Sassanid Empire, though Nader Shah's assassination led to its immediate disintegration.

Troubleshooting
If you subscribed, but it doesn't show up:
1. Turn off the game.
2. Delete the Civ5ModsDatabase.db from Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache.
3. Launch the game and go to the mod section again.
After waiting for a brief period, all missing downloads should initiate and install!

If that didn't work, try this:
1. Go to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
2. If there is a .civ5mod file in that folder, open that with 7zip, Winrar or similar software
3. Unzip/unpack the contents in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

This is an awesome mod - all the specials work together synergistically without being overpowered. As for the 50%, i wouldn't decrease it - i think it's good but not too OP. Thanks so much for making this one!

Lol :p Do you think the 50% should be somewhat lower? Of course, when designing a civ, I can't take into account every custom option, I always assume standard settings.

And thanks, glad to see you seemed to like it :)

Just wanted to say that I played a game on King difficulty with these guys and kicked some serious ass. Turned on Raging Barbarians and had so much production going I was able to build just about every Wonder. Toopchis came in handy when taking out a few cities.

Well, it works. Just not for you, it seems. Can't help you without more info.

Don't know about Algeria, but you may not have the right DLC for Bulgaria. Otherwise, can't help. You need to be certain it's just my mod too.
