Now marks my third attempt at revising this rain coat/trench coat. This thing is perhaps the most annoying thing I've ever worked on. Each iteration has only made it harder. I think this will likely be the last iteration, I'm done fooling with this thing.

I did make some marked improvements with the overall design with this version. The most notable feature is the normal mapping, which adds a great deal to the overall appeal of the coat.

Another noteable feature added with this version is the addition of jiggle bones. The legs are a nightmare to work with when you have longer coat tails. I utilized some jiggle bones and other creative workarounds to get the tails to "react" to the legs when you move. I've uploaded an slowed down animated gif of the effect. Notice that the legs "kick" the coat as you move. It's not perfect, but it's a definite upgrade from the previous "leg brace" style the previous coat had. The gif looks washed out due to the free software I used to record it.

Of course, as with the previous versions, this coat cannot be imported for certification. Ironically, I was actually able to certify the coat without the jiggle bones, but it resulted in a mess with the coat tails. I decided it was better to submit with functional coat with jiggle bones, rather than certify a coat with crazy clipping on the legs.
