Description
Money! We got it, baby!

This sound mod replaces the most weapon sounds with those from Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

This was actually quite fun and easy to make. Took me two hours to create all the files (including those that are the same as in L4D2) and just twenty more minutes to figure out and fix all the bugs... I guess. I HOPE.

There are many sounds that are the same as in L4D2, but I didn't simply copy-paste anything, I actually created them in the same "advanced" way I would make any other sound mods.
As in all of my sound mods, the pistols use their intended sounds, meaning that the sound of the right pistol comes from the right and the sound of the left pistol comes from the left.

There are incendiary sounds for every weapon, but I didn't show them off in the video because by default, the CS:S weapons don't use their own incendiary gunfire sounds and I was too lazy to change that for this video. Also, for some strange reason, my pump-action shotguns don't use incendiary gunfire sounds. They use their regular gunfire sounds instead and I just can't figure out what's causing this.

The Magnum, as you may have already realized, has its own handling sound and this sound mod even contains script files that forces the Magnum to actually use them (but ONLY if the Magnum replacement you have is coded to use them... that's the compiler's decision). Not only that, but these script files add pitch variance to all gunfire and many handling sounds to make them sound much more realistic. But beware that these scripts only work on all official campaigns, official Survival maps, MrFunreal's TUMTaRA maps and VALVe's lost test maps (that's all these maps that start with the name "zoo_").

The soundscape scripts are there to enhance the sound quality. They add reverb and pitch randomization and replace several sound file paths with different ones to make use of sound files that are better to work with in the first place.
You should never... NEVER... replace the default game files under ANY circumstances and there's reasons for why my mods are built in the way the are built.

With a little research, you can easily find the public ones on your own - by simply searching for the weapon names on GameMaps, GameBanan or in the Steam Workshop. If you don't find something, it's not available.

Got some good news for all you people out there who prefer this over the 2016 version.

Right now I'm working on a complete remake of this version, containing all the changes that I've made to my sound mods since the beginning of this year. It might take a while before I can finally publish the update, but it will be worth the wait.

Have a nice day everyone!

By the time of typing, the new CS:GO sound mod already is in development.

Chances are that I might also include this in my older sound mods in later updates. I'll let you know about any changes in my plans.
