5"/50 Naval Guns

Description
For now go to: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=568326583 for DX11 support, not sure when I'll be able to get my own up, I just can't prioritize the project right now.

The plan is to add WWII-esque weapon mounts, both turrets and casemate. These 5" guns are most effective against light and medium ships. The Dual-Purpose turret is decently effective at shooting fighters at medium range but cannot track fast enough at close range. The casemate mounts are space savers in exchange for limited elevation and traverse. All 5" guns use a standard HE round.

All blocks have build states and are survival ready.

Currently contains:
5"/50 DP Single Turret = 360 traverse, -15 to +85 elevation (also 270 and 180 traverse versions)
5"/50 DP Twin Turret = 360 traverse, -6 to +75 elevation (also 270 and 180 traverse versions)
5"/50 Casemate 90 = -45 to +45 traverse, -24 to +24 elevation
5"/50 Casemate Right and Left Sloped = -5 to +95 traverse (mirrored), -24 to +24 elevation
These need a little explanation, there are 2 versions so that half your ships sloped casemates aren't upsidedown compared to the rest when/if you switch between manual control on them. There is a small black triangle indicating which side is 'up' as well as a small marker above the barrel on both of these and the standard casemate.

Blocks that resemble ww2(to modern) radar systems (as antenna blocks unless sensors become range moddable)

Known Issues:
-Currently using missile type projectiles for explosive damage so they trigger missile targetting, nothing can be done about this.
-Twin turret fires in bursts of 4, this is a result of the turret type limitations with regards to multiple barrels
-Mirroring is broken on casemates at certain orientations

Additional notes:
Barrel diameter and legnth are actually accurate to scale, though some of the barrel is inside the model with enough space for breach and a plausible loading mechanism (although it might be tight).
Also, if you want to modify these in some way be sure to give credit.

@usswat64 They're not updated to Dx11.

I'm going to be fixing them VERY soon. I already have one turret redone after a slog to rebuild the models.

Releasing the mod or adding contributers would be a good idea if you feel you wont have the time in coming mouth or years. I have never done programming in space engineers nor models but i do have time to spare. Can't say if am the man for the job but you should still think about doing something about it, your mods are one of kind.

I think I may be able to set aside time to work on these again each week starting this week, if not I may release the source files/(add contributers?) to get the mods alive again.

I know these mods are you brain child and all, and that life can get hectic making working on what is really a side project to life hard to get around to, but if you cant work on them for more than a year?
Maybe its time to turn it over to someone who has less life complications. That way the mod lives on, you dont have to try and find some way to make both life and the mod work, and all of us who use these glorious mods can get the updates we have been starved of....
Give the source files to someone who can continue your work, someone without the level of distraction you are obviously having workin on the mod due to life.
At least give those of us who have been waiting patienly all this time SOMETHING to go off of, other than to use Witches DX11 conversion. This mod deserves to live on somehow........

I'd love to see something with high RoF, looking like the german Rheinmetall "Mantis" C-RAM. Perhaps in like (l*b*h) 1*1*2 and 3*3*5 for both ship types? Would look awesome along with these guns on a gunship/small and medium cruiser type ship
