SOL3 Planet Drill Mk2_1

Description
SOL3 Transport & Mining Ltd, would like to present their new Planet Drill Mk2. This Drill is design for use on planets and astroids with gravity.
The Planet Drill Mk2 has two large ship pistons for increased reach and it has three large reactors to provide the power, solar panels and batteries provide a backup incase needed. The two large pistons allow the drill to use large drill heads of which there are 6. The main drill boom, (which contains the two pistons) can be tilted to a 45 degree down angle, this allows the drill to be able to drill below it self and create it's own path down creating a mine entrance, to help widen the entrance, the top boom of the drill can be moved from side to side while drilling.
Ore collected by the drills are piped to the ejectors at the back of the vehicule by it's own transfer boom, there the ore can be collected by the SOL3 Ore Carrier Transport Mk2's Collectors, To ensure proper collection of the ore the Carrier is connected to the Planet Drill via a merge block, thereby insuring that the ore is transfer without loss.
The Planet Drill as both audio and visual warning to ensure safety of those working in and around this vehicule.
Once drilling is complete on site the Planet Drill Mk2 is able to be move to other sites either on planet or astroid the drill is able to move under is own power using the large number of wheels which give the Planet Drill Mk2 the stable platform that it needs for drilling, with mulitiple head lights, tail lights and Hazard Lights as well as running lights on each side of the drill, the Planet Drill Mk2 can find it's way even in the darkest of places
A personal ramp at the rear of the drill allows workers to board the Planet Drill Mk2.
With work lights at the rear, which can be controled from the cab of the drill, a watchful eye, can also be kept, with the fully controlable, rear camera, to ensure that ore carriers are correctly connected before drilling begins.

Author's Notes......

Due to updates of the game since this was first published, the connectors and landing legs that secure the drill to the body of the vehicle, might come apart during pasting, i have gone back and put this right, but things may change again in future update, however this is a vanilla (NO MODs) craft and as such should be ok now :) (22/02/2017)

@Ancient Demon, what is wrong with this, as it is pure vanilla?

This is a dead blueprint sadly...

you could add a piston on a rotating axis to 'push' it up, but like you said, lots of changes
It still works on moons though, with one adjustment to the ejector boom

i am afraid that the drill is as is, i have tryed it out on planets too, but do to the changes the devs have made over time this can not be repaired. To make it work on a planet surface the drill would have to be redesigned completly, which would make it a new and different drill altoghter. when the competition was run, a subsitute was used for gravity and it worked well but since then the number of updates we have had means that the drill is not the same as when i first put her together, sorry , believe me when i say i would love to repair this drill to be able to use her. The biggest problem right now is the rotors, they are not strong enough for planets right now..

I love this drill, but you need to fix it 'cus it's not strong enough for planets, I can get it working on moons with a minor adjustment
