Description
As part of the second batch of Galaxy-EWSS starships built to explore the viability of further improvements to the system the U.S.S. Lord Mirdalan improved upon several critical areas. Of highest importance is probably that it was discovered that even the standard Stage 5 EWSS Power Conduits could not handle the stress of regular Phaser Lance usage leading to the complete overhaul in the form of the Stage 1 EWSS Power Conduit Transmorpher Unit that is now an integral element of EWS starships. The first Galaxy-EWSS to be ordered in the three-nacelle Refit Configuration instead of being upgraded later on the Lord Mirdalan took part in the Battle of Jupiter against the invading Borg Cube of 2414 where the ship received dramatic hull damage. Originally judged unsalvageable and prepared to be stored in the Qualor 2 Surplus Depot the wreck was towed back to the Utopia Planitia Shipyards on orders by Fleet Admiral Janson in honor of the Lord Mirdalan's crew that was lost in it's entirety when the ship took a hit meant to destroy a passing transport vessel that was unable to escape the battle in time.
As of 2415 the ship is still being rebuild at Starbase 253 and the subject of a debate about whether or not the ship should retain it's registry considering less than 25 percent of the current frame were part of the original hull - a debate that is viewed as embarassing by some and infuriating by others.

Welcome to the second upload of Commander Rotal's Galaxy 3.0 Project. I present to you a hollowed-out Refit-variant of the ship i am currently working on. The empty frame features plenty of room for all your needs and will allow you to adapt the Lord Mirdalan to your liking - play with mods? Install some Phaser Cannons for maximum Phaser Lance Ownage. Play Survival? Stick some Solar Panels on her Nacelles and pack some serious thruster-materials and you're good to go! Want to make her dance?... well i guess you still need mods for that, the lord is heavy.

Important points of notice:
-) The ship is built as a station because she does not have enough Thrusters for functional Inertial Dampening; it's good enough as-is but for future releases i will look into ways to sneak more of them in and probably adjust this upload accordingly. For movement i highly recommend a Gravity Drive, Internal Thrusters with Damage disabled or modded blocks like Steroid Gyroscopes and Titan Engines.
-) The Primary and Secondary Hulls are now fused together due to the Phaser Lance. I suppose i will touch that one up a little to add more bulk to it at the base. The Phaser Lance structure should be big enough to accomodate most large mod weapons you would like to use.
-) Speaking of Bridges: the Bridge Dome is the only interior this empty frame has - a version with actual Decks is in the making but you'll have to fill this one in by yourself. Is she a Survival Base or a Battleship? Modded up the ♥♥♥ or vanilla as her maker intended her? You decide! (Contrary to the Galaxy-A the Lord Mirdalan features a new Bridge Dome Module that both looks a bit better and is airtight. When you load up the world the Bridge should be oxygenated but opening the pressurized Air Lock still depletes the oxygen and you have to wait for repressurization. I am not sure what's going on there, anyone got input on that?)
-) When downloading this world you SHOULD start in a small space station that's designed to accomodate you during the big reveal of a ship you probably already saw in the screenshots. Ah well. For those of us who'd like to explore the Lord Mirdalan in Survival the Observation Center should provide you with Oxygen, plenty of energy and small ships that will bring you safely to your destination. However, the world is small (20 km) and does not feature asteroids to improve performance.
-) Which reminds me - she's not as bad as other huge projects but she's far from smooth-running. (Being empty helps tremendously though.)
-) The hull is currently missing both windows and Escape Pod Hatches. I have not decided yet whether or not i will add them to this version. As she is she looks a bit empty... but this variant is SUPPOSED to be an EMPTY SHELL so that's not necessarily a bad thing. Still brooding over this one.

(The Galaxy Class that this vessel was based on appeared in STAR TREK The Next Generation, STAR TREK Deep Space Nine, STAR TREK Voyager, STAR TREK Enterprise and the movie STAR TREK GENERATIONS, most famously represented by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D; the three-nacelled version of this build features only in the alternative future of The Next Generation's final episode, "All Good Things" as the personal flagship of Future!Admiral Riker, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. The Lord Mirdalan is named after one of my budgies who is in turn named after the Strill Lord Mirdalan from the Star Wars: Republic Commando novels.)

It's a string of Spotlights at max Range/Intensity settings with the game's graphics set to Extreme. Entirely modfree. If you zoom in on the enlarged picture you can actually see them faintly in the upper left portion of the white part.

Speaking of screenshots - i don't know if anyone else has that issue but the picture slider seems to have changed to blurry thumbnails on my end, anyone else getting that? Do i need to reupload them?
