Description
This is a modified version of the jupiter skybox, which I use on my game server.
This increases the speed limit for large and small ships, and allows large ships a faster turning speed.
Note: since the update which ties top speed to sim speed the modded speed is affected by the simspeed of your game. This may reduce your maximum speed from the limits defined in this mod. Unfortunately I cannot work around this limitation.

All original credit should go to the creator AedanXaelan.

The original un-modified version is here:

This modification was needed as skyboxes appear to interfere with many speed mods I wished to use on my server - and I wanted more fine control over this.
Large ships are now limited to 800m/s after testing showed rotors rip off above this speed when turning or slowing at certain angles.

Small ships are still benchmarked against what is reportedly the escape velocity of the moon.

Current Limits:
Small Ships: 2380m/s (now 2580)
Large Ships: 800m/s (now 1500)

The rotational turning limit has also been increased to allow large ships to fly less like bricks and more like fighters. This also allows rotors to spin at a higher upper speed limit, and has the side effect that things are less likely to "rip off" during hard turns.

Fogging:
Default

If this speed is correct, travelling in busy space must be quite scary.

Although I don't mind who uses it, credit should be given to AedanXaelan.

AedanXaelan's original skybox doesn't have the speed modifications, it may throw console warnings, since he didnt update the extension on the dds, but should still load in DX11 now.

Would you be interested in making this skybox in DX11 without the other mods? Sadly all the other Jupiter skyboxs are DX9.

Note: speed limit increased slightly, and rotational limits to compensate. Be warned, this makes landing on planets highly realistic. You will generally find yourself hurtling towards earth at about 400-500ms
