Gravity Accellerated Weapon: A-113 GAW 1A v1.41 (Vanilla)

Description
1.101 Issues: Changes to the landing gear functinoality with this patch causes complete destruction of the timer/programmable block mainfrain (the brains of the weapon) when using the landing gear to lock the turret. The GAW 1 BP now loads with the landing gear unlocked.

CAUTION: Do not lock the turret landing gear. Locking the turret landing gear will result in destruction of the main timer/programmable block mainframe.

GAW 1A (WIP)

The is a demonstrator model for the first in a series of gravity propelled weapons. It can fire ore and aft mounted (Type A) small block projectiles up to 1 x 1 x 3 large block size (approx 3 x 3 x 16 small block projectiles). Equipped with an eight projectile selector switch, it comes with seven preloaded projectile varients (see pics for details on munitions).

This project is a technology demonstrator and test platform for GAW projectile development. Lessons learned here are being applied to several GAW varients under development for station defense and ship armaments.

FEATURES:
a. Capable of ore and small block munitions
b. Can store up to eight small block munition blueprints
c. Full 360 degree turret rotation and +/- 45 degrees of elevation
d. LCD and Panel dynamic feedback of weapon functions
e. Duel projected reticles for precision targeting (v1.2)
f. Survivor friendly with full oxygen and convoyer system (v1.4)
g. Alert messages display warmings and cautions of critical operations (v1.4)

PLANNED FEATURES:
a. GPS guidance system for long range engagements (requires custom script)
b. Blueprint component requirement and cargo component list LCD display (requires custom script)
c. Retransmission drone to extend guided projectile range up to 25,000m.
d. Actual mechanical rangefinder w/ range displayed on LCD
e. Target vector and speed calculations with lead requirement return

UPDATE: 1.41
*TM 1-7123-1-CL Change 2
Type A-113 GAW 1 v. 1.41
26 SEPT 2015 // v. 1.101

Summery:
This version is a hotfix since changes were made to the landing gear functinoality causing complete destruction of the timer/programmable block mainfrain (the brains of the weapon) when using the landing gear to lock the turret. The GAW 1 BP now loads with the landing gear unlocked.

CAUTION: Do not lock the turret landing gear. Locking the landing gear will result in destruction of the main timer/programmable block mainframe (I repeat this cause the result is really bad. Try it and see!).

Additionally, changed some functionality to the conveyor system to allow ore and components to be returned to the the pedistal storage container instead of being stuck in the upper turret. The sorters automatically pull resources out of the turret at the end of a loading cycle.

A new, smaller 113D HEUPD was installed. It deals the same damage as the older model but requires fewer resources.

Coming Soon: GAW 1B
This will likely be the last update to the GAW 1A and i'm getting ready to release the new B model. Outwardly, it looks similar to the A model but is able to build larger projectiles, load resources into those projectiles and has an improved convoyer and oxygen system.

Special mention to Whiplash141 for providing the origional inspiration and laying foundation for successful gravity weapon designs. The small block projectile, small block computer mainframe, ore chamber and LCD feedback are all based on his designs. Check out his wide range of gravity weapons on his workshop.

Your designs have inspired me to make an adapted projectile for field expedient explosive use -- I've worked up a variant of this design that uses Hydrogen Thrusters insetad. Depending on how well that works, I'll also make an atmospheric thruster version. I'm impressed at just how much damage small warheads can do!

@I0FER

if u move the turret then fire at the same time the bullet will surely destroy your turret! but if its stationary then its keen...

*Botono- Sadly, there is no way to print multi-grid builds in suvival. The otpinos are to import it using SE toolbox or build it from scratch. Sorry!

How do you construct this in survival using a projector? Rotors make separate grids and only the barrel is being projected.

great idea for getting rid of stone

This is incredibly well designed, must have taken forever to build. Awesome job.

@Halo_ninja_1369: I answered you in the Grav Weapons Discussion forum above (it was to long to fit here).
