There is an area near the town for urban developments and a giant Squared off section of the map in which any crop can be grown.

New update, I meant for farmers paradise to be a.... farmers paradise with only farming but to make it a bit better i have added all other resources to the left of the capital

Advice after playing it:

If you get a task in either fishing, mining or logging, it's a damn pain in the ass. Put a mine closer to the starting point, as well as some more trees, and fishing nodes. Or else it can take 4 years to finish a single mining task, which is ridiculous.

the double stuff is a mission editor bug that kalypso needs to fix as far as I know...aside from that you can actually kinda exploit things with the double stuff too. accept easy missions twice , get twice the reward etc...of course military things are doubly hard that way :steamfacepalm:
