Description
Adds a playable Trojan civilization to the game under the Homeric king, Priam.

UA - Assuwa League:

Cannot build settlers or annex cities.
75% less city-state influence degradation when at war. Double food, culture, and faith from city-states.
City-states may gift units when entering war with a larger empire. Start with free basic walls in the Capital.

UU - Hypaspist:

A replacement for the swordsman made available by discovering bronze working (uses no iron). Hypaspits are noble Homeric heroes, and start with a promotion which grants bonuses when fighting in friendly territory and against other melee units.

UB - Walls of Troy:

A unique upgrade for Walls available only to Troy, and buildable only in the capital. Vastly increases city health and defense, making Troy extremely difficult to capture. The safety of the walls beckons migrants, increasing growth by 4.

Troy, known as Wilusa by the Hittites, was a city situated in what is known from Classical sources as Asia Minor, now northwest Anatolia in modern Turkey, located south of the southwest end of the Dardanelles/Hellespont and northwest of Mount Ida. Troy VII is most likely to be what is known as Homeric Troy, the setting of the Trojan War described in the Greek Epic Cycle and especially in the Iliad, one of the two epic poems attributed to Homer.

Archaeological evidence supports Troy as a member of the Assuwa League, an alliance of states in Western Anatolia formed to oppose the powerful contemporary Hittite Empire. Troy VII fell victim to the Bronze Age Collapse, and was destroyed by war some time in the late second millennium B.C. A new capital called Ilium was founded on the site in the reign of the Roman Emperor Augustus. It flourished until the establishment of Constantinople and declined gradually during the Byzantine era.

@The Comanche, copy the .civ5mod file to your Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS directory, then right-click on it and 'extract here' with the winrar menu (I recommend 7zip)

The only mod in your list I don't use is the community balance patch, which is a very aggressive mod incompatible with many modded civilizations. I'd recommend making sure that a mod explicitly supports the CBP before trying to play with it.

I have Win.rar, is there a different program I need to open it?

It downloads and says the file has no app associated with it to preform this action when I try to open it. Im playing with the community balance patch, the greek civilization split, ige, infoaddict, and the thracian and minoan mods. When I go to the help screen I can see the Hyapsist and Walls of Troy uniques as being listed, but there's no civ associated with them. Its cool that you're still responding to comments after 5 years btw

@The Comanche, what are you seeing when you try the direct download link? Also please send me your list of mods so I can try to see what it might be conflicting with.

The civ shows up in the mod select screen, but not the leader select screen, making it impossible to use. Also the direct download doesnt work

Easily exploitable if you declare war on a civilization on the other side of the world and never sign peace

Then build a very tall civ. I did the same with the Dragon Age Project's Kirkwall.

These civs with this 'Cannot annex cities ability' are getting kind of old.
