Rise of Rum *UNFINISHED*

Description
The tables have turned, now you are a rising tycoon who inherited the properties and wealth of a family friend and must rebuilt the once glorious sugar empire of Goluja to its former glories. This will mean to defy the power of the island's ministry (imposed since the revolution), whom will offer many difficulties and challenges to prevent money-makers and the wealthy to rule in Goluja once more. With the family-given power to change the constitution and the help from your long-time family friend and financial advisor you will rise from your small mansion to re-establish order in the island of Goluja. The story plot is in its first stages of development- there is also a "free-mode" available which enables the player to play as a normal map instead of following the main story. Hope you all like it, thank you!

It is NECESSARY you have the free "Map Pack" dlc to play this scenario as it is based on one of the pack's islands! The dlc is 100% free and can be acquired at the Steam store.

I have a different problem. I seem to have a bug. Even when i agree with the proposed trade contract in the story, i still do not have access to any trade options. Instead the purchase liscense tab is stuck there. When i click the purchase trade liscense tab both before and after the story's trade deal, nothing happens. Also just as a matter of organization you may want to create a seperate bug reports thread, on this discussion page. Just a suggestion.

Cotorra Bella, thanks for a nice scenerio. I am stuck at the point where I am told to build 3 docks. I am unable to build them, since they are still under the ministry.

The scenario is unbeatable. Whenever I get to the house building and church quests I always run out of money no matter what I did before and can't ever get back in the green.

Dear @Cotorra Bella, i know that this is "unfinished". But at least you should make it playable somehow. I created a a few Hours this night a very beautiful and Rich , Religious ans pacifistic Island bevore i realised that "unfinished" means that this szenario is stucking somewhen ^^

Last attemt went a lot better but now I fell to an uprising and rebel attack combined. I also noticed that waterborne and espionage buildings can still be build. I think that isn't intended. You should look at the conditions on which the player loses the game and whether the player has enough influence on those mechanics. Maybe an uprising or rebel coup shouldnt mean the player loses but it would mean a new el presendente who has to be influenced and bought all over again. (I have no idea if such a thing is possible, but hey, just sharing some thoughts.) Good luck updating!

@MarSn , aye! should we call it "lobbying"?

@The_Draken Thank you for your amazing review!! It was as if I were there in the game hehehe, glad you enjoyed the tensions brought by this challenge! Thanks to the wonders of the new update, now the missions do not repeat and I can continue the work- I will update very soon!

I really like the concept! My game ended when rebels destroyed the palace while i still needed to build houses and churches. The muskets of the palace guard where no match for three rebel squads with machine guns. I think the moral was still low from the coup, rebel atack and tornado of a few months before (which we survived miraciously.) Starvation of the people didnt help much either I think. Maybe for the scenario it would be an idea to turn off protests, missions (from expansions) and elections in the early game. After all, what can a humble survant of the president do without any power? Love your work and I'm looking forward to an update! :)

warlord I have found that bribing people works wonders when you have no other options.
