Myth's Tactical Borders

Description
This addon replaces the default tactical borders with a verson that more clearly shows the healthbars while making target identification quick and easy.

Update 1.1.2 (5/17/2018)

Addon works for Embers of Rage and Forbidden Cults!
Changed - Addon weight changed to 90.
Instructions updated.

Update 1.1.1

All borders are added now and most redone.
This should be considered the actual release for this addon.

+++THIS ADDON ONLY WORKS FOR NEW CHARACTERS, UNLESS YOU EDIT YOUR SAVE+++

Instructions for save file editing:

Locate your save folder - (Generally in C:\users\*username*)

( The name of your save folder inside your *username* directory is T-Engine )

BACKUP YOUR T-Engine folder TO A SAFE LOCATION - ( You can copy and paste it on your desktop )

Inside your *username* directory, open your T-Engine folder.
Open the 4.0 Folder.
Open the tome Folder.
Open the Save Folder.
Look for the folder with your character's name you wish to edit and open it.
Look for and open your desc.lua file ( You can use notepad, but it may be easier to download and install something like Notepad++ )

Locate the line that looks like the following:
addons = {'ashes-urhrok', 'items-vault', 'orcs', 'possessors', 'cults'}

Add inside the { } the following 'myth-tactical-borders' so that it now looks like:
addons = {'ashes-urhrok', 'items-vault', 'orcs', 'myth-tactical-borders', 'possessors', 'cults'}

( Keep in mind the above will look different based on what addons you have installed )

Save your desc.lua and exit the file.

@Kinasin Just started a new char and it worked for me on Metal, after cycling borders with Shift-T

Does this still work

I'll take a look.

It will probably take me awhile though, I have timed events going on in another game I am playing, so I may not be able to get around to it until next week sometime.

The way it depletes IS nice though, I recommend trying it out for yourself... but that's secondary.

No, I use the flagpole one because it displays over the borders. Without the addon, flagpole healthbars are partially obscured by the tactical borders.

So you mean you are using the flagpole mod and its overlapping the borders on my mod...

Essentially you just want the HP bar to deplete up vs down which is why you use the flagpole one?

@Tyrant

Yeah the sprites should all overlap the HP bar, and the bar is in the default position...which should be inside all the tactical borders...

Do you have a screen shot of a Border overlapping the HP bar?
Tyrant 2 Oct, 2018 @ 9:22pm
Yeah.

Oh my mistake I thought this was the UI mod, you mean the HP bar on the tactical border, not the HP resource bar, lol.
