SFM_SPYMOVIE - Meet the Spy Replica

Description
Requirements
If you only wish to use the unlit, non-set dressed map (no lighting, no props) then all you need to do is hit the subscribe button above.

If however you wish you use my preset .dmx that contains replicated lighting and prop placement, you will need to download the SFM Beta Content from MaxofS2D's site (my preset is acquired by downloading the GameBanana version).

You can of course also just use the preset .dmx for lighting only, while removing or hiding any prop groups without needing the SFM Beta content.



What is This?
Some of you may remember that I authored a "Meet the Spy" map replica already (set_meetthespy) and to some extent, this map is largely built upon my original basic replica.

This map has been compiled for Source Filmmaker and has had every single actual screen-used prop placed by hand along with custom made lighting to match that seen in Meet the Spy.



How is This Useful?
I have worked tirelessly to make this map and project file as flexible as possible, both for 2fort-esque use, Meet the Spy clones and original creations.

- Every single stock prop from the original 2fort/video has been removed, then replaced meticulously by hand within Source Filmmaker. Allowing you to remove, animate and redecorate virtually every prop and room in the map.

- Every single fake door or room has been modified to use real prop doors and every normally inaccessible room/hallway has had some form of logical entry created if it previously was unenterable.

- Every normally inaccessible "for show" background areas have had their interior rear facing areas completed via additional brush work or texturing to allow for camera shots from every angle. As an example, this means you can place a camera within the giant "World Map" room facing the standard Intel room and it will look normal.

- Meet the Spy was watched sometimes frame-by-frame to ensure, that for the most part, every prop was placed almost exactly where it should be in relation to itself and other props besides it.

- Previously static "Blast Doors" on upper hallways are now able to be animated.




Isn't This Just 2Fort?
Nope. While cosmetically and on the face of it it's somewhat the same areas as seen in the in-game map, there are countless alterations specific to the screen-used version that have been made for your convenience.

These include, but are not limited to;
- Adjusted hallway sizes/brushwork.
- Alternate textures (windows being an example).
- Alternate brushwork on Intel room floor.
- Impossible spaces worked around via destructible walls.
- Ramps modified into stairwells.
- Brand new custom areas.



Usage terms
You may use this map for machinima purposes at your own discretion. It'd be nice to get a credit, or have the map name listed somewhere so that I can find your videos and watch them, but it's not required.

If however you wish to use this map in a Saxxy entry, a contributor credit is required on your submission.


Why Two Map Files?
sfm_spymovie_b2 - This is the map with baked in rotating blue lights. They're not perfect, but they save a lot of time animating when in a rush.

sfm_spymovie_nl_b2 - Self explanatory. This is the same map without the baked in rotating lights (nl = no lights), for if you want to animate your own.



Where is the Animated "World Map" Screen?
It's there and placed with the preset .dmx. To animate the screen you have to change the textures over time. It contains a lot of custom frames.

As mentioned in the first two paragraphs of the submission, the base map file is unlit and with no props so that you can create your own scenes.

You have to install the beta content and use the preset project to load the map as seen in the screenshots.

Just a question: why is the meet the medic map on game banana? I swear I saw It on the steam workshop did something happen?
