Description
The goal of this collection is to maintain a group of high-quality mods that enhance vanilla AOW III visuals and gameplay without making changes that substantially impact balance. This is intended for players who wish to play a refined version of the game without modifying the developer's well-crafted ecosystem of races, classes and independents. New mods that are well-aligned with the purpose of this collection will be added as they are released and tested.

At present, changes to gameplay include only increased variety of heros and structure rewards, along with the addition of Obsidian Dragons to Dwellings. This collection is tested frequently for compatibility between constituent mods, and (as of this writing) currently has no known issues.

All credit is, of course, due to the respective mod authors. This package is intended to help players who'd like to improve their AOW III experience without spending a lot of time vetting and testing individual mods. I've used more substantial gameplay mods successfully with this pack, but make no reps / warrants as to compatibility with any items not included herein.

Note: This collection is intended for players running both Golden Realms and Eternal Lords; several of the included mods have 'non-DLC' releases available. No testing has been done with DLC-free installs of AOW III.

Changelog:

Version 0.45
- Added "Fallen Angel Immunity to Petrifying Scream": this does exactly what it says on the tin. I think this makes sense thematically and is similar to how other high-level units with nukes typically have high resistance to their offensive damage type. Wouldn't be surprised if this lands in an official patch
- Added Captain Joruus's excellent "Army of Animated Corpses" mod, which essentially replaces the Necro's visually-lame Cadavers unit with full-size, upright, haphazardly-equipped skeletons. No stat changes, but will need to watch for compatibility issues when Tibbles releases his Necro reskins

Version 0.4
- Removed Theocrat diversification mod, as Racial Reskin now covers the Theocrat unit set. With this change, all unit variety enhancements are provided by Racial Reskin.

Version 0.3b
- Removed Warlord diversification mod as Racial Reskin now covers most Warlord units
- Edited background image to reflect changes in 0.3a (replaced "Sorry Notch!" with Racial Watchtowers mod icon)

Version 0.3a
- Included the new Racial Watchtowers mod
- Excluded "Remove Notch" mod (realized only recently he isn't just an easter egg, but helped to fund the game!)
- Reordered mod list along thematic lines
- Verified mod compatibility following the addition of Beserkers to Racial Reskin: Warlord class mod remains included

Version 0.2b
- Initial public release
