MaxRavenclaw's No Negative Trait Effects

In 1 collection by MaxRavenclaw

Description
WORKS FOR ALL CAMPAIGNS, vanilla, The Last Roman and Age of Charlemagne.

Should remove ALL negative effects from all character traits, with the exception of the "impossible to make children" traits like Eunuch. Note that it doesn't remove the negative traits themselves, you can still get them, but they no longer have any negative effects on them. Neutral traits only get their positive effects.

Savegame compatible.

Compatibility with Radious or anything that modifies traits and skills is... well, it won't crash the game, but it will either do nothing or it will overwrite the other mod's traits and skills. VANILLA CAMPAIGN ONLY. Will update for DLC campaigns when I purchase them.

Even removes negative effects from Blind, which might be overkill.

More exactly, I've removed:
- All effects from Stupid, Mad, Clumsy, Inbred, Atheist, Easily Deceived, Distracted and Trapped, Booring, Irresolute, Lazy, Lewd, Unlucky, Unhealthy, Bad Administrator, last level of Authoritarian, Pacifist, Noctophobia, Bad Ambusher, Attacker, Besieger, Defender, Siege Defender, Sea Attacker, Blockade Defender, Blockader, Sea Defender and Escort, ♥♥♥♥, Bereaved, Cowardice, Dishonest, Gambling, Arrogant, Adulterer, Fears and Likes enemies, Unpatriotic, Blind, Deformed, Ugly, Disfiguring, Spurned, Unpopular, Paranoid, Unjust.
- Negative effects from Choleric, Melancholic, Sanguine, Phlegmatic, Drink, Sober, Bad and Good Discipline, Survivor, Bravery, Feck, Fervor, Girls, Stupid, Obstinace, Taxman, Harsh, Kind, Miser, Spender.
- Some of the negative effects from Infertile and Eunuch, but not all.
- Removed these two negatives too: bel_trait_mission_payload_illegitimate_children_1, bel_trait_mission_payload_influence_negative_1, but I'm not sure what they are.
- Also removed wife negative effects like attribute malus or illegal child chance.

It's been a while, but IIRC that's not that easy due to how the game handles traits and effects. This was simply the simplest way of achieving what I was going for.

Why not just remove them entirely? Please for the love of god someone should just release a mod that removes bad trait entirely, they’re totally immersion breaking and add nothing to the game. I am sick of every single one of my generals having. A buttload of bad traits. I don’t want to see those traits or look at them in my screen anymore JFC almost 10 years of playing Attila and I don’t remember a single time I got a character with only good traits. Literally makes me delete the game every single time.

mk1212 is 1212 ad medieval mod for attila total war. i dont think so cause it has all the same tables and traits and skill trees.

I don't even know what mk1212 is. My guess is it overwrites its trait tables or something. It probably needs a compatibility patch. Haven't played the game in a while, so I can't help with that, sadly. But if anyone wants to adopt it, feel free.

I run the mod first with the MK1212 mods after it and for some reason it removes all the traits from the skill tree as well. Is there any way to make it work?

I've reinstalled Attila and am looking at my older mods. As far as I can see, this one is still mostly functional and working as intended, to this day. Presuming I haven't missed anything when I was comparing the tables. If anyone spots any missing trait, tell me.
