Well, they worked fine 7 years ago. No issues during nor after testing, and did what they're intended to do. As well it worked fine with all other mods i made.

None the less, what is the issue? Is it crashing your game? Is the mod not working as intended? Is it clashing with the other mods i made? Have you tested this yet? Or is it you just don't understand the code? If its broken i can just remove this mod completely. I would rather do that then leave something broken up.

More so, because this is something i just don't have any interest in at this time.

Quite frankly, this was 7 years ago. I don't even have the mod or the game download on this PC, Nor the PC that i even did it on for that matter. Let alone remembering what lines where changed to what values and for what reason.

By all means, if you have the passion today to rework or just make your own mod for this, have at it. Its an open source code if i remember correctly, should be just fine.

ALSO, I noticed this line:

; Chance of a new colin having a random starting-level perk
;PERK_RANDOM_CHANCE = 1000.00

Because the line with PERK_RANDOM_CHANCE has a semicolon (";") in front of it, the game will completely ignore it.Thus, this line does nothing, even though it says "= 1000.00". :steamsad: I'm sure you just forgot. But you'd have to edit this mod and remove the ";" in front of that line for it to actually make it more likely for new survivors to have a starting perk.

I found the following extra line in this mod:

; How often do any random events happen
EVENT_FREQUENCY_MULTIPLIER = 0.50, 1.00, 1.00, 1.00, 1.00

Argh! Why? :steamsad: Why add this line which has nothing at all to do with either how likely a survivor is to have a starting perk or the max level when in a new city?

There is no semicolon (";") in front, so this line potentially affects game behavior. What's baffling is that this line is the same as the default value, so the only thing it can potentially change is to block the effect of mods like Faster events as they both try to alter the same thing.

I haven't tested this, but I suspect I might still get Faster events to work by having it either higher or lower in my mod list. But, at the least, this should've been mentioned in the description!

@Harridan Sharr, well yep you can get backgroup perk by do some questline and make certain choice in a lot of map

i'm confused, do this mod made the perk gained at lower level or do it make so you can gain the vanilla perk at the vanilla level, and "modded" level ?
thank a lot by advance =)

Is there a way for you to make it so that our main characters can receive new skills/perks?

Nope they should run just fine with each other. If there is an issue let me know.

Is this mod compatible with your super recruit mod ? Or will they break my game ?

Not really to much more to mod for the game. Very limited on what can be modded as well.

Can you please make more mods?
