Lambda Shuttle With Escape System

Description
As seen in Star Wars and built by sienar Fleet Systems, the T-4a shuttle is used extensively by the Galactic Empire for ferrying officers and troops where they're needed. Featuring folding wings and full weapon and shield suites, this shuttle can dish both the damage out and receive it equally well. This ship is (unfortunately) not survival ready, but is thruster damage friendly and capable of operating in 1G environments, see below for more details.

Features:
-Escape System! This version of the Lambda has a fully functional cockpit escape system. Pressing the overhead red emergency release button will start a countdown timer that seals the cockpit and then blows it away from the rest of the vessel. Low power emergency forward and landing thrusters are installed in the front of the ship to try and soften the landing on hostile planets.

-Folding wings! The wing folding mechanism (unchanged from the original) is completely working and allows you to get that truly cinematic experience while coming in for landing. Also features locks to allow the shuttle to fly normally.

-Shields! Using the Beta Energy Shields mod, this Lambda shuttle is fully equipped with shields (and a lot of them!) to keep it safe during those long voyages through enemy territory. (Escorts still recommended!)

-Multi-Function-Displays! Utilizing the amazing script system, this shuttle is equipped with LCD panels that put all the necessary information at the crews fingertips. The pilot has access to speed, damage, power, date, time, and GPS position. The co-pilot has access to complete power output, date, time, and GPS position. A Shared display shows shield power. Two wall mounted displays in the cockpit show damage, date, time, and GPS position. A single wall mounted display in the back of the cabin gives access to power output.

-Firepower! Featuring two forward firing blaster cannons and laser cannons, the T-4a can quickly scrap any fighters who try to take it head on, close air support and larger ship assaults are also capable missions. A rear mounted blaster cannon will make sure to keep your six clear of any fighters who get behind you.

-Survivability! Incase your shields go down, the T-4a is equipped with a thick layer of hull plating around all important systems to keep you flying. A multi redundant oxygen system will keep any personnel inside breathing, and incase of a hull breach the cockpit can be sealed and put onto its own oxygen tanks. (Not useful in this version, see operating notes below for more details.)

!Important Operating Notes!

-Atmospheric Thrusters: The T-4a shuttle is equipped with extra thrusters on the bottom that should be activated only when inside of a planets gravity field. These thrusters are there to help it hover during wing folding actions and to escape the influence of a planet when fully loaded with fuel and personnel.

-Wing Folding: This version of the lambda features locks to allow the ship to fly normally with wings up and down. The first set of locks (6 in the pilots toolbar) are for locking the wings when they are down (flight position) the second set of locks (7 in the pilots toolbar) are for locking the wings when they are up (landing position). The folding mechanism (5 in the pilots toolbar) should only be activated when both locks are set to OFF/UNLOCKED, failure to do so may result in awkward flight characteristics and possibly becoming acquainted with the ground at high speeds.

-Landing Gears: Very important! The MexPex heavy landing gears used on this shuttle may break off at the same high speeds a normal piston would. High G maneuvers are highly discouraged at speeds above 50M/s. The landing gears also feature locking systems on the footpads, these are only, repeat only, to be locked when landed on the ground, small ship built pads, or large ship built pads. Any locking attempt to a station will result in the pads breaking off from the rest of the gear, attempting to lift any loads or move the ship with locks engaged will have the same effect.

-Escape System: Hitting the release button in the cockpit starts a timer block on a five second countdown which seals the cockpit and activates a second timer block on a three second countdown that blows away the cockpit, activates the emergency gravity system, and turns on the maneuvering thrusters. Because of this escape system (the mixture of blast door blocks and merge blocks) the ship is no longer considered pressurized to the game and therefore why it is creative only.

(That should be all the mods, send me a message if you have trouble spawning the ship in and i'll recheck for the millionth time.)

Production/Maintenance notes:
Reactor fuel receptacles are behind the entrance to the cockpit, one on each wall. The Hyperdrives can be accessed by grinding away the armor blocks on the base of the dorsal wing, below the thrusters pointing upwards. Gyroscopes are placed below the dorsal wing, at the front of the attachment bump. Any damage sustained to the wing folding mechanism is difficult, if not impossible to repair, replacement of the vessel is recommended if this happens. Depressurizing the ship is a very good idea before opening the ramp as the oxygen supply onboard is limited.

It seems as if when youpaste it the wings just fall, as if the mod connecting them is gone

I can't seem to land, once i get close enough to the planet any use of thrusters pulls the ship down and the wings cant get all the way up.

I appreciate the answer, but I did find a solution. I have to go into the ship's inventory and attach the actuators. Once I do that, the wings work like they should. Thanks for the great shuttle!

@Vellcrow I think the issue has to do with blueprinting the ship while the wings are locked in either position, I need to do some testing to confirm but a fixed version should be out soon when I have some freetime.

I have all the mods listed and yet when I try to paste the ship, I get a warning that something is missing. Also, once I paste the shuttle I cannot fold the wings and they fall off when I move the ship.
