Exponential Leveling v4.0 - A legit way for Madness

Description
Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up.
It is meant to make Madness difficulty possible without cheating or hacking of any kind. The game isn't really meant to be beaten on Madness-Roguelike in a legit way, which is why trainers/cheats/savescams exist. And for the majority of classes, it's just not viable at all. This makes it possible.

Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

How to use this addon:
- Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
- Start a New Game.
- Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
- You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.


Operating Modes:
- Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
- Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
- Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
- Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.


Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes):
- None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
- All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
- MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.

All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat.

Options are much easier to understand and more customizable
Balanced mode (Default) is now meant to make Madness ACHIEVABLE without cheating; it's still hard as hell.

@Riyango currently it doesn't. I'll see if I have the time to do something about it but Normal is kinda balanced when vanilla already

@Errant Does the balanced mode work on normal difficulty? Only extra points and the cheat mode work on normal difficulty and balanced for the higher difficulties,so I thought it would be nice if the extra points was customizable or you can apply the modes for other difficulties to normal difficulty.

@Riyango you cannot customize points, but you can reduce how much you gain going with Balanced mode instead of extra points.

Is there any way to customize stat point gains on normal difficulty with the extra points option? like I want the balanced nightmare or insane gains ,but on normal difficulty. Extra points is a little too cheaty.

@inetz Fixed it in v4.0.2, I increased the eq. regen per levelup instead of reducing it in the v4.0 update by mistake. Each level you'll gain (small) passive equilibrium reduction per turn, aside from meditation or any other effect, which also work during combat. It stacks with everything during rest.

How can I configure this for equilibrium for an antimagic character? The goal with equilibrium is to be as low as possible, not as high as possible

Updated the addon for TOME v1.7.4 and reworked the functionality to make it easier to use and more focused on making Madness-Roguelike achievable in a legit fashion.

Mod works until I load the game again the next day even after changing up the settings a few times :(
