Description
Based on eXor's 'Cursor Item X' mod.

This mod adds in a block that has a very small model, allowing you to see behind it very easily. This allows for nicer painting and deleting of blocks. Works in both creative and survival mode, but in survival mode is unplaceable (because it uses an unobtainable resource).

Features (copied from eXor's mod page):
  • Colorable: No
  • Blocks: small and large
  • Collision: only large (not anymore, will fix)
  • Placable: no (survival)
  • Proofed: survival and creative
  • Uses: act like a micro cursor for color and delete blocks

I remade the model for this mod, as the previous one crashed the game and eXor has lost the original files (and doesn't want to re-make it). This is my second ever model (first with Maya), and so it is not very good. Also, the textures are quite broken. I haven't checked the DX9 textures, but the DX11 one's are non-existent. I will attempt to fix this someday, but for now, it's not noticeable (since the block is not designed to be placed) (also, the textures are really that necessary, since the mod is so you can look past it at the block behind).

Side note, i haven't done any collision models, since it just wanted to get it working, but they are planned.

Gave the original model a go and, yes, it crashed my game. I'll give this one a try because SE really, really needs this.
