Size: 3x3x2 Small Ship Grid

Survival Ready: Yes

Max Power Input: 6.4 MW

Max Stored Power: 0.42 MWh

Max Jump Distance: 100 Km

Max Jump Mass:: 12500 tons

Charge Time: 5 minutes at 6.4 MW input

- Recharge time reduced to 5 minutes, compared to original mod
- Uses half the materials needed for the big brother
- "Only" 100 Km max distance, for balancing purposes.

This mod appears to no longer work in the latest update, it now creates a Null Pointer reference.

@ShadowEater25 If you are willing to sacrifice Distance, ramp down the performance on your jump drives. You still wont be able to tactical jump inside a gravity well but you can get the timing down so the only wait is the Spin up time for the jump itself which is ten seconds

I use a small ship with a reactor and I have the power, But the wait is terrible
Please make a shorter mod!

Can't load the mod into the game for some reason. I try to look up Jump Drive to build it and it doesn't show up in the listing.

Like what you have done but it really needs balancing. Its mass is immense, its range too short and its build cost too high.

Anyone else experiencing the jump aborted error due to distance being too short? Seems to be a common issue with all small ship jump drive mods. Trying to find a working one.

You will have to activate the mod in the savegames modlist.

OK I'll check the components needed tomorrow. Regarding the missing sounds and stuff: this mod was released before Keen updated the jump drive and that's why it's missing some stuff but I never felt like it was necessary to add.

From comparing various small to large grid parts, it would seem that a flat ratio of 1:9 would match the current vanilla style. However, I find this ratio a bit too easy considering the technology and would therefore suggest something between 1:6 to 1:7.

PS: Not sure if it defaults to the Large Jump Drive stats but the following appear to be missing from your mod:
