English Longbowmen for Mercia - AOC

Description
===========================================
I have no plans to change or make any additions to this mod. However, if there is a patch to Attila that breaks this mod please leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it
===========================================

I want to preface this by saying yes, I know this isn't realistic or historical. I made this mod for my own enjoyment and decided to share it on the workshop.

I've been playing a Mercia campaign in Age of Charlemagne and when I noticed that the Welsh have their own Welsh Longbow unit, I decided that I wanted them for Mercia. I waited since I figured tons of people would make some kind of mod for this but it never happened, so I decided to make it myself

This is basically a copy of the Welsh Longbowmen unit with higher armor, and a new look to match. It's recruited from the level 2 and 3 barracks.

This is a completely new unit and should be compatible with any other unit mod or reskin. Please let me know in the comments if you notice any issues with the unit, as this is my first mod for Attila.

Mods used in the screenshots are GEMFX and Guv's Mercia and Charlemagne faction reskins.

I know that I am more than 4 years too late for a rebuttle on what Hand_Of_Glory said about the Warbows being Longbows, but Longbows can be a type of Warbow as can Recurve Shortbows. And in addition, the Longbow was adopted after the Viking Raids in the 8th and 9th centuries, but were not used by "peasants" in combat until the early 10th after the first siege of Dover had proved the value of a Longbow on the battlefield. A Warbow is any bow between 70lb and 250lb draw, whereas the Longbow has between 20lb and 250lb. Just wanted to clear up some misinformation. And to Pineapple, the mod still works great, even after all this time.

@OneEyedMorrighan'sWolf Thanks for the kind words! I haven't played Attila in in quite a while so it's good to know the mod still works well. Glad you're enjoying it.

Warbows aka Longbows came to England by way of longboats from Scandinavia as far as I can recall from the little history I have been subjected to ;)
They where then adopted and perfected in use by the lower orders of (peasants) of the British Isles over the next 1000 years until gunpowder kinda phased them out / where made illegal by the powers that be like firearms of today that are being by political means made problematic to own/use.
Thx for the mod.
