Storm Giant

Description
This mod allows the production of Menhir of Thunder and Storm Giants in the Giants Dwelling. The new unit is a shock damage variant of the stone giant with the ability to throw a huge thunderbolt to an enemy unit or object.
The Storm Giant carries a sort of large hook pike, helmet and obviously throws bolts of lighting. It is a living siege unit which inflicts elemental damage.

To balance the Storm Giant, it has less HP than the frost giant and weak defense for a Giant (high resistance though). Upon leveling up it gains static shield.

Iron Medal: +1 Melee physical damage, +8 HP
Bronze Medal: +1 Ranged physical damage, Stunning Touch, +8 HP, +1 Resistance
Silver Medal: +1 Melee physical damage, +8 HP, Static Shield
Gold Medal: +1 Ranged physical damage, +8 HP, +1 Resistance, Inflict Stun

This giant does not resist or is weak to any particular damage type, but its low defense allows for lower units to cause great harm, although magic users will find difficult to deal against it. High resistance, great range, good damage output and the ability to clear obstacles for your melee troops will make it a great companion for physical based players.
Players who fear Dreadnoughts or Warlord will find in the Storm Giant an asset to defend cities or keep low level enemy swarms at bay. At first all it needs, is to stay in the back protected by some T1 infantry or pikemen. Afterwards, it can come to the front line using the standard 36 move points inherent for giants and use stun touch or flank an enemy using either a melee or a ranged attack. Quite a versatile unit, not overpowered but not necesarily underpowered for a T4, it will fill a role in your army.

Hello, I am a mod creator for this game, and I would like permission to add the storm giant to an updated version of my mod "Oiyelys's Tier 4 Specializations", specifically to the water mastery specialization.I also figured out a thrown lightning bolt that you might be interested in.

Great mod, though I think Inflict stun should be moved to silver medal (possibly changed to inflict shocking) and Static Shield moved to gold. This is because Static Shield is probably one of the most broken abilities in the base game (up there with Swallow Whole). While swapping out Inflict Stun with Inflict Shocking is a downgrade, it also has more synergy with Static Shield, making for a terrefying melee engagement, without requiring so much sacrifice just to lock down a double-stun. If you feel like that is too much of a nerf, give lightning melee damage to make Inflict Shocking work for the giant.

I thoght since giants are in balance with the continent of Athla and we only got to meet Ice, Fire and Stone (Physical), then it means other giant tribes must suffer some sort of imbalance, much like dark elves, kind of like a corruption of sort. But i suck at graph design so i used the in game assets LOL

It's a nice idea - I like the mod. Graphics, not so much. Not that they're not good, they are - but it makes them look kind of like demons to me.

The Storm Wyvern should get Inflict Shocking since it's weak to the most common damage type. The Storm Dragon is awesome, though you may want to remove one or two of the ranged attacks. I like the Hurricane Breath and the Plasma Missile are both cool, but I think that the Shock Bomb may be one too many abilities.
Only other glitch is the graphics for the range attacks not showing up, but that's a minor issue. Otherwise its an awesome mod! Great job and thanks!

Well, I'd give it a lightning bolt ranged ability. Something similiar to Sun Disc except doing lightning damage, that would make it more unique. Sprint or Phase as well. I'd say that in general it would do less physical damage then some of the other dragons, but it would have access to Inflict Stun and have more active abilities then the other dragon types. Lightning Resistance of course, possibly with Frost Resistance and a minor weakness to fire and/or blight. Static Shield could be a possibility at Elite, but it could make it to OP.

Sure, thinking of it. I´m wondering why we still don´t have one of those already? We have fire, ice, blight, spirit, the obsidian one. But no lighting. What would be good to give it?
