What exactly don't you like about his creations? He has been building tanks only recently, so that may be the problem. I'm sure he would listen to good criticism :)
I'm usually against modded creations as well, but the challenge in the concept for this design was making something that could handle all situations and could fit in the bounding box. That's hard to do, still with balloons that are too strong. The lift/downforce flying spirals are at 1.25x so the balloons can't be too powerful. Anyways, this is hard to make, even with balloons set to 50x (aka 40 times the lift, and you could put more balloons and flying spirals to achieve that, but then it wouldn't be invincible to archers, so I didn't do it like that).
I'd love to see your design! Did you put it in one piece or as several vehicles, not connected to each other?
Absolutely wonderful design, lots of features and clearly very well thought out.
Plus, despite being a hulking brute it's somehow elegant!
