Beta Base - Quick-Deploy Space Depot

Description
Hi all,

I had a problem in survival: even if I'm capable of leaving to space - I have NO idea what I want to build once I get there. I always worry about how many components I should bring.. what should I build first? Battery? Solar panels? Do I have enough components? Well... I was tired of it. So I built Beta Base.

Beta Base is a Quick-Deploy Space Depot. What this means is that all you'll need to worry about doing is filling your cargo with a crap load of components, building yourself a connector, battery, projector, and welder in space... and let good ol' Beta Base take care of the rest. Assuming you've got enough components in your cargo hold, Beta Base will contstruct itself from Start to Finish.

Guide A - How to Setup Beta Base

-- Make sure you have a space-ready cargo hauler (for ex: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=608205787 )
-- Store enough components for at least 1 Connector, 1 Battery, 1 Projector, and 1 Welder (large grid)
-- Fill the rest of the cargo with as much as you can fit of every component
-- Get to space with cargo
-- Once in space, build a welder with a battery below, a projector above, and a connector attached to the back. Make sure the welder's conveyer ports are exposed at the sides ( see pictures for reference ).
-- Access the Projector's Control Panel, and project Beta Base's blueprint over your starting blocks
-- Assuming you've brought enough components, let good ol' Beta Base take care of the rest by turning on the welder and watching it work

Nothing fancy - just quick, clean, and effective. The idea here is to have an easily deployable space station to serve as a rest stop between major bases. For example, if you're running low on hydrogen, stop by one of these for a top-off.

Guide B - Below is for those who want the exact components needed (as of Jan 28, 2016). Anything with a "(###)" is the cost including the starting Battery, Connector, Projector, and Welder

90 Bullet Proof Glass
554 (603) Computers
2131 (2235) Construction Components
174 Displays
359 (362) Large Steel Tubes
776 Interior Plates
15 Medical Components
394 Metal Grids
148 (159) Motors
240 (360) Power Cells
40 Radio-communication Components
100 Reactor Components
548 Small Steel Tubes
1152 Solar Cells
4743 (5014) Steel Plates

UPDATE - Feb 2, 2016:
-- Replaced Large Reactor with Large Cargo Container
-- Added Small Reactor

UPDATE - Feb 1, 2016:

-- Updated entire Beta Base build so it is a lot more uniform in terms of layout. All the welders are placed much more efficiently, and the Medical Room is in a much better position.
-- Updated components list to reflect new build.
-- Removed Gatling Turrets as Beta Base isn't intended for hostile locations. Use Charlie Base for those.
-- Added disco lights =)

Yeah welders had a nerf so they only have a radius of 1 x 1 at the tip of the 2x1x1 welder block but I sometimes play offline on an Old Version of SE because my PC lets say.. Isnt the newest on the market and cant handle SE too well but yeah I like the build ^^

@[NTRX]zoomfree Thanks! I haven't actually played SE in quite a while, so I'm not sure if this build actually still works... from what I heard, welders were nerfed at some point :(

Even tho im a Weapon engineer I can appreciate good builds like this!

@webwolf1 Awesome! its actually kind of funny to imagine this Depot getting tugged around space lol Mostly because my original intent was to keep it as a stationary, well, station.

This is great! I used it in my survival world to supplement production and propulsion on my roaming ship after I got off planet. I added a merge block to the start connector area and merged it to the rear end of my ship.
