Description
This mod is no longer maintained - it may or may not work.

A simple mod that makes melee criticals deal double normal damage as well as slightly increasing critical and hit chance!
*Intended for Commander or Legendary difficulty

I will try to learn it in a rough draft version of this new mod that removes the epic fail firing from point blank. Since a player managed to make the team survive and sneak attack those aliens very very closely, i believe that player deserves a better shot rather than just miss (specially with grenadier big machine gun weapon). A mod like this would be very c00l indeed :dipaddle:

Very doable, but it may cause conflict with other mods. It's a simple .ini edit if you want to do it yourself, otherwise i'll upload it to the Workshop in a half hour.

We are eager also to see a simple mod that removes the miss chance when firing right next to the enemy alien or with just '1' square far from target. Is a mod like this doable ? :kv:

Instead of just increasing damage nullifying the increased difficulty I made criticals deal double damage to kill some of the scarier mid/late game enemies. Accuracy was increased from 20 to 25% causing 99%'s during midgame for rangers, never ruining your "XCOM baby" moment! but removing it throgh natural aim soon enough.

I need numbers. What's the accuaricy increase and crit chance increase? also, the print is showing default sword dtatus, not double damage.
