Squad Conceal

Description
Conceals the squad if you see no visible enemies at the beginning of your turn.

The configuration file is located at steamapps\workshop\content\268500\623155292\Config.

You can configure the concealment mode in 3 ways: Squad, Individual, and None. (default squad)

- Squad concealment sets the whole squad as concealed
- Individual works as if everyone used the conceal ability

You can configure the number of turns without seeing an enemy to trigger concealment. (default 1)

You can configure missions to allow concealment when they normally would not (such as retaliation missions.)

This mod is compatible with all other mods. This mod is compatible with Patch 2.

Warning: Any saved games with this mod enabled must be loaded with this mod enabled. You can disable this mod via configurations if you're in that situation.

Okay... for those having the issues I had with this mod not working with WOTC, I opened the mod folder and in the config subfolder added what I noticed seemed to be missing from other mods; the "Xcomgame.ini." I copied from another mod and replaced the info with this:

[SquadConceal.X2DownloadableContentInfo_SquadConceal]
DLCIdentifier="SquadConceal"

Verify the "TURNS_BEFORE_CONCEALMENT," setting to your taste as described below, and see if that's all it needs to work for you too

@wayne is there a version of this that works with WOTC? It used to when I played several months ago, but not anymore.

Is this broken for anyone when playing against the lost? I used the below fix but, when playing against Lost, the Lost cannot ever see me despite how close I get to them unless I use an ability or nade against them and even then only that specific pod (not one 8 tiles away) will see me. I cannot use normal attacks against them and they can't see me unless I nade them lol. Does anyone have a recommended fix for that?

@Waybe - just saw your note earlier about no longer supporting it - bummer!

I'll look to recreate this as a new mod with the updated fix.

@Wayne - can confirm this fixes the issue.

If you get the chance, can you update this for the mod for people who download it fresh / have to refresh INI files - as I think the change to 0 must've been accidental as the default setting.

@Displeased Owl In the configuration file, there's a setting called TURNS_BEFORE_CONCEALMENT, the last time I published the mod, the value was set to 0. If you set it to 1, the issue should go away.

Anyway, i see you can no longer provide support to the mod. Its ok, thank you for what you have done. The mod is still pretty good

I have looked over the source code, enemies active are not checked at the begining of the turn. It just checks the TURNS_BEFORE_CONCEALMENT and the type of concealment.
