Toxic Waste Treatment Plant

Description
Toxic Waste Treatment Plant takes care of any harmful waste produced by your city. It acts as a garbage incineration plant, but has double the radius and needs more educated staff. As a specialized plant it is slightly more expensive, but also more efficient (less pollution).

No custom assets or mods are needed. It is After Dark friendly (lit up at night), but should work without it too.

Statistics:

Size: 5x5
Type: Garbage building, incineration plant
Construction cost: 30 000
Maintenance cost: 10 000
Collection radius: 4000
Garbage capacity: 400 000
Garbage consumption: 3000
Garbage trucks: 27
Electricity production: 750
Water/sewage: 12/12
Workers: uneducated 5, educated 15, well educated 10, highly educated 10
Pollution accumulation: 50
Pollution radius: 75

I made the 3D model and the textures.

No problem @niis-ku - Blender is free and I learned how to use that one. I'm not sure how similar it is to Maya (probably not at all) but you could give it a whirl. There are a lot of cool plug-ins and scripts you can get for Blender that make some things a lot more manageable (UV Unwrapping for instance). Thanks for checking and hope to see more creations! :D

@templeofdoom: this is a bit embarrassing, but the truth is that I used a 30-day free trial of Maya for this one and the lisence expired already... I can tell that it consists of quite simple boxes, cylinders and pipes. I tried to delete unnecessary/invisible faces. Details such as windows are made with textures and not with polygons. The file size is 3 MB, I think that's not too bad considering the many round shapes. I understand your concern, however, so I'll have to learn to check the poly /tris count next time I make something.

@niis-ku - if you are using Blender you can check Tri-count in your 3D modeling program. I use Blender so I wouldn't know where that information is available in Maya or 3DS but if you google you could quickly find out. Thanks either way - I like to check the stats of models as I am reaching around 1600 assets right now and have to be picky. :)

Textures are 1024x1024 _d, _n, _s, and _i maps. The poly / tris count unfortunately I do not know (no I idea how to check that, it could even change after fbx conversion?) ...

Very nice! Can you list the tri-count and the texture sizes used? Nice work!!!
