"Spectrum is a mod that I've designed for those that have already defeated XCOM 2. Granting the player an extraordinary amount of choices to make with new missions and enemies that require the player to master the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy, his soldiers and their equipment."

Designer: Yzaxtol

Main Contributors:
{Green} GrimyBunyip - GrenadeLauncher Code
Yard1PL - SAW and DMR Weapons
CMDBob - Advent/Alloy Weapons
Long War Studios - SMG Weapons
Raeli87 - Code for adding Armor Stats
Aeris_Tae - Code for Balancing Sniper rifles with Non-Sharpshooter Classes
Rayman! - Code for Enemy calling Reinforcements.
Wraithstorm - Designed the Logo
Shard Obsidia - Custom Class Nicknames

Translators:
TypnogeJI - Russian Translation

Need Translators for all other languages.

Summary of Changes:
New Combat System - Enemies are more diverse with extreme strengths and weaknesses that will need to be exploited with the correct tactics and equipment to survive.

More Diverse Loadouts - Each soldier has the option of 7 different primary weapon types, up to 4 different armour types and a large selection of possible utility items.

Themed Missions - Heavily Armoured MEC Squadrons, Poison-wielding Toxic Troops, Stealth Runs through City Centres and many more.

New Techs - New branching weapons technology each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Loot Revamp - Now you can loot the equipment that is being used against you, rewarding you for taking down tougher opponents earlier.

New Content - 20+ New Enemies, 8 New Classes, 40+ New Weapons, 4 New Armours, 2 New Items

This is a significant gameplay overhaul for XCOM2, therefore any other mods that provide gameplay changes or additions will most likely conflict with this mod or at best be unbalanced changes.

Problems?
First, please delete all .ini files inside your Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config folder. This step fixes 90% of all problems with mods.

If you are still experiencing problems please provide a detailed bug report here and I will investigate the issue further for you.

Known Conflicts with Mods
New Enemies - Will work on very few maps and won't be balanced with the loot, weapon and armor changes.
New Armor Customization - Will not add extra pieces to the new Armors in Spectrum.
New Classes - Will not be able to wleld every weapon unless it is designed to.
Additional Mission Types - Unbalanced, Will cause either very easy or insanely hard missions.

Known Issues
A Soldier's appearance is only copied over to new armors the first time they are selected. Further selections each have unique saved appearances.
New Weapon Tech Completion text is unfinished.

some of my best memories in this game come from those stealthy city missions. love this mod!

compatable with LW2?

It seems to me like the game no longer tries to keep too many pods from engaging you at once. I like the rest of the mod, but don't like dealing with so many enemies. Is there a way I can turn that back on?

@Thor of Florida

This is an overhaul as long as LW2, I would assume it's incompatible with most other gameplay changes. LW Toolbox should work alright though.

@Kazran: yes, the only "strategic" things that change are item and class progression (in Green there is randomized loot and build-your-own-classes AFAIK)

This looks very interesting. can I assume the strategic gameplay is still the same, this is more of a tactical and base overhaul?
