All clear now.
I thought it creates some missions to train people. It would be awsome if it would be possible.
For example to train captain in navigation: fly to zone X next to zone Y...
For defence officer: destroy pirates in zone X...
Something like that :)
I haven't played Rebirth in a long time, and there's been some updates since then that might have broken something.
The original intention was to provide a list of your staff that don't have 5 star stats. The guidance was suppose to direct you to find those people in your fleet so you could take the required virtual seminars to them and complete their training. This mod doesn't provide any of the training required, just allows you to find those that need training and inform you of what you need to make them 5 star.
Hope that helps
I try to train manager. I followed guidance to station it points to and nothing happend.
I took manager on Skunk and went back to this station - still nothing happens.
There is no clue in mission description.
What should I do?
I've also added the French translation provided by Erazil. Thanks for providing the translation!
@FunkDooBiesT I'll take a look. It should be possible if I can stop playing Fallout 4 for a little while
@Erazil I took a look at the autotrain mod, and it seems it injects it's code into the vanilla AI scripts (mostly), so doesn't raise an event I can trigger.
Hopefully I'll get some time on the weekend. Perhaps instead of having to transfer the NPC anywhere, just using one of the conversation options might be suitable? Maybe I could change the code so that just viewing the NPCs skills screen will cause a recalculation? It wouldn't increase the load on the game at all really, since you can only view one NPC at a time anyway. Would that be suitable?
As Erazil below I have the autotrain mod (I like the idea of units gaining skill as time passes).
Would it be possible for your quest system to update if I was to take the NPC back onto the Skunk and then reassign to the ship/station? (I'd role play that as if I award the NPC for getting better on his own; type deal)
its not very important, just a little report for a little trouble with another mod , nothing more ;)
Unfortunately, that's a bit expected. As far as I can tell, there isn't an event that triggers when an employee gains a skill. My mod works on the conversations where a virtual seminar is activated to reset the count. I don't use the auto train mod, so I don't know whan mechanism it uses to add the skills. When I get some time, I'll download that mod and see if I can make it compatible.
