This is a big size SV.

1:1 scale
Lenght: 38 m

The problem with EGS 1:1 scale replicas of medium sized ships between 25 and 75 meter length is, that the SV blocks are too small and the CV blocks are too large to create the most of these ships.
So whatever you choose, you have to make compromises.


* SV blocks allow you to create better shape, but the ship is heavy and lacking basic functions (grav gen, turrets, warp drive, medic station, etc.)

* CV large blocks are making it difficult or even impossible to create the right shape in most cases.

Well, this ship was requested few times and I like the VT-49 design, so I did give it a try.

This is my first try on medium sized replica and probably the last one.
I'm not really satisfied with the end results, because I did run into all the problems mentioned before.

Creating it as CV was not possible in the 1:1 scale, so I used SV instead.

It's moving well for this size and weight, but it's even big and heavy SV.
Use the forward thrusters to get off from a planet.

* 6 passenger seats
* O2 station
* 2 x small constructors
* ammo and cargo boxes
* many fuel tanks
* 3 x rocket launcher
* 2 x Minigun turrets (1)

(1) The Minigun turrets are added by an unofficial trick, so there is no warranty this will work in future releases of EGS. Also, If you loose a turret in fight, you will not be able to replace it with a new one. (Same as for the ARC-170)


Upgraded and reworked the ship for EGS Alpha:

- added more weapons (+1 rocket launcher, +2 plasma cannons, +1 gatling gun)
- added more thrusters for better handling on planets.
- reworked the hull and the back engines
- reworked the interior


Replaced the turrets with gatling guns for Alpha 2.0 compatibility.
If you want turrets again, ask devs for adding SV turrets.
