Before we begin, we would like to extend our thanks to L3 Engineering. Due to their earlier release of their SC-1 vessel, G.S.O. Engineering was given the solid foundation needed to bring the Anubis series to you. Please take a look at the SC-1 and show your support to L3 Engineering!

About The Anubis Series

This series was inspired by the Star Citizen RSI Constellation. We will be releasing three variants of the Anubis in order to meet the desired needs of your crew: Exploration, Stealth, and Combat. Each variant will also come with an MK-1 model and an MK-2. The difference? MK-1 models are fresh vanilla builds while the MK-2 models come with aftermarket modifications.

Here at the G.S.O. we strive to destroy limitations, and the biggest feature of the Anubis is the integrated capability of flight both in and out of atmosphere. A common challenge crews face with planets is having a ship that can't safely land, or when landed, can't escape the planet's gravity without making substantial modifications to the ship. The Anubis breaks those barriers and is fully capable of atmospheric flight while containing enough power to escape a planet's gravitational pull.

E MK-2 Overall Review:

We are proud to present to you the Exploration MK-2. Similar the E MK-1, our goal with this Anubis model was to mainly reach out to the civilian contracting market by providing a ship that focuses on long-distance exploration while still having the tools to defend itself in a fight. Leaning more towards contractors, the E MK-2 is meant for the more militant exploration crew that wants the benefits of retrofitting the E Mk-1 with aftermarket modified parts, weapons, and equipment. These mods offer not only a sleeker design, providing a vessel with nicer curves, but they also provide the E Mk-2 with better armor coverage, updated electronic equipment, better power output, enhanced offensive and defenive capabilities, and increased maneuverability.

Just a note: The fighter you see being printed in the screen shots does not come with the ship. However, I will be releasing it in the near future.

Here are a few of the features of the E Mk-2

[] An increased array of defensive weapons.

[] A large hangar capable of fitting multiple small ships (How many small ships is determined by their size).

[] Built in welders located within the hangar for easier small ship repairs.

[] Multiple AI programs to provided smoother management of the ship, such as an automated airlock, automatic doors, inventory management, etc

[] A fully connected conveyor system allowing smoother transfer of resources.

[] Enough thrust output to allow seemless flight in and out of atmosphere without the need for hydrogen thrusters.
This design was meant to allow you and your crew to save on resources.

We hope you and your crew find everything you need and more with the E MK-2. If you like the ship, or have any ideas, let us know what you think in the comment section. We count on your reviews to ensure the quality of our work.

Like what we've built here? Keep and eye out for the upcoming release of the Anubis Stealth Mk-1 and Mk-2. By sacrificing hangar and cargo space, this variant of the Anubis will be designed to focus on speed and agility.

Sadly, this mod build is years old, hasn't been maintained, and I don't play SE anymore. It's awesome that players still come across this one. I recommend utilizing the MK-1 version of the ship, as it uses vanilla parts. Keep in mind, though, the game has gone through numerous updates and patches; I have no idea what's changed, so the other variants may be broken in some way.

@Mr. Bibbles I would also like to add in here a project I worked on from ground up. WIP Blueprint, but I took Star Trek inspiration and created this shuttle to fit within the Docking Bay of the Anubis. I would also welcome any tweaks you think could make it work better as well? Take a look?

The upgrades for the G.S.O. Anubis E MK-1 are coming along smoothly. New scripts have been added, as well as an almost complete overhaul of the ship's design. Lighter in weight compared to the older model, and more efficient placement of thrusters.

Currently setting up the LCD's, grouping blocks, etc. It's nearly finished.

@Sinestro I'm working on some concepts with the C to relocate the bridge away from the nose of the ship in order to provide more protection. In regard to the S and E; those two are not designed for combat. That's the beauty of space engineers, though. Reconfigure the ship to suit your needs if you're not happy with it's current setup.

I'll take a look at the issue of the primary guns hitting the antenna. I'm currently working solo on these, so it'll be a little while.
