Report a translation problem
(That makes me curious, though, would it count if you bring 10 stools, and stack them in another map? Hm... Depends on if the stools are their own unique coded object, or if Santa's Rampage has scripts checking for 10 stools being stacked.)
Things you could try, though:
-Reloading the map via save&load or restarting it completely (and hoping the bug doesn't appear again).
-Jumping down the garbage disposal shaft and using that elevator instead to go back up (or to operate the broken one from the outside in both areas).
-Unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the map to possibly clean up any file errors.
-Right click Viscera, select Properties > Local Files > Check Cache Integrity. This'll check the game files (mods often included), and re-download any missing/broken files.
-If you're playing multiplayer (and join one as client), ask the host to check it out, see if it works for them or not.
