Tan AN/PEQ-15 [FLASHLIGHT]

Description
The tan version of Odeca3D's glorious AN/PEQ-15.
Replaces the rail-mounted flashlight modules. You'll see it on the M4A1, Mk 14, M16A4, Mk 18 Mod 0 and UMP-45*
*latter not shown because Zombie's animations hide the LAM.

I've already updated it so that it replaces the same model (the rail-mounted flashlight) while having the textures mapped to a different directory. That way, there should be no other mod that conflicts with it unless the mod author somehow has the same directory naming convention as I do in a 1 in a million chance.

In fact, you can now use this mod in conjunction with my black AN/PEQ-15 laser without any texture conflicts.

Ok here's the thing, the mod you've linked already comes with a AN/PEQ-15 model that replaces a_flashlight_rail.mdl just like this mod. Even if i were to remove the conflicting texture paths, it won't change the fact that there are 2 mods competing to replace the same model. That means your issue will still persist.

Solution: extract the files in the SCAR-H vpk (just drag the "root" folder into your "custom" folder for insurgency). rename the folder to whatever you fancy and navigate to models/weapons/upgrades and delete the a_flashlight_rail and a_laser_rail (SethSamson's mod will also likely conflict with it). Then go to materials/models/weapons/mk17 and delete any texture files vmt and vtf alike for the AN/PEQ-15.

Don't forget to unsubscribe from the workshop upload when you are done since you already have the mod locally installed.

In the meantime, I'll upload a new version for all the mods to remove the conflicting texture paths and make it 1% less likely to cause issues.

my suspicion is that there is another mod with an AN/PEQ-15 that shares the same mk 17 texture paths as this mod and it's not seth's upload

Namely: a black AN/PEQ-15 mod?
If so, I know the issue and can somewhat quickly fix it for all versions.
