Description
An Outrageous Speed Mod

The fastest mankind has traveled was 24,791 miles per hour (almost Mach 33) on May 26, 1969 when the Apollo 10 Lunar Module began re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. I wondered what that might have looked like so I put together this little ditty. There is absolutely no way to avoid an obsticle you are heading toward once you see the obsticle so blueprint your ship first. If you leave a flight seat while traveling several thousand meters per second, say bye bye to your ship as you will pass out of the rear of it faster than a bad burrito.

Not meant for real game play because:
1. It may cause your monitor to melt into a radioactive pool of goo.
2. NORAD will track your every move should you install this mod.
3. Angry cosmonauts will shake their fists at you.
4. You will scare away potential close encounters of the third kind.
5. Its bolder than bolder than bolder than bolder than bold. And your mother would say you should not do it, so...
6. You will remember things that have not yet happened.
7. The most interesting man in the world refuses to try this mod.

For now, I doubt it. This mod simply changes the speed limits for ships and players. KSW seems to be working hard on multiplayer optimizations so we will have to wait a bit and see what happens with those endeavors. I think it’s fair to say that KSH considers 100-110 m/s to be the top speed because of simulation speed limits -- there are a lot of math involved in keeping everything moving and synchronized. I'll try to brain storm something. :steamsalty:

After the recent SE updates, I've found speed mods don't play well. Problem like asteroid voxels become invisible and desync between ships and video meaning boundary boxes don't match what I see. :steamhappy:

Its the only speed mod that doesnt break rotors, so I have to stick with this one.

Unstable when you go over 190 m/s. Start flipping around which makes my job a crap ton harder to get to places
