Thanks to Waldo for suggesting using states for changing between flat piece and wall, this is now a thing. Enjoy!

Lastly, it would be nice if we could have some level of board size automation for when it comes to how many tiles we start with. It's annoying having to google what the tile count is per board size followed by delete 29 tiles every time I wanna do a 5x5 game. Idk what the most elegant way of accomplishing this would be. Be it separate bags for each board size, a scripted UI or something else entirely.

But given that the grid is odd with, having the bags align with the grid is a bit annoying, so it might be worth to setting snapping to "both".

A good grid size I found to be about 2.85 with an offset of 1.425 with snapping set to center.

Hey, I like this, but I have a few issues.
1.) The tiles matching the boards makes the pieces hard to see at times and gives one player the advantage. A high-contrast board would be appreciated so to avoid camouflage.

2,) Does not utilize grid snapping.

3.) Pieces are not naturally stackable.

4.) Moving towers is. . . difficult, given the prior 2 issues.

Oh hey! Thank you so much for the kind words!
I made the board image myself, I was gonna send you the one I uploaded for the workshop, but turns out I have a bigger res version of it!
Feel free to download it here [drive.google.com]!

@Deinol Thanks for the great workshop model! This has been a great way to introduce this game to my online friends. I am making a copy for myself IRL and wanted to know where you got the board image? Only having one board but getting every possible side is an awesome/thoughtful bit of board design. If you know where I could download the image for myself or if you could send me a copy I would really appreciate it <3

The board design is made to allow you to play using the size you want (You can use the diamonds for 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8, the light squares for a 5x5 board as stated on the official Tak guide and you could use the dark squares for a 7x7 board. About the pieces, you have a bag with the max pieces possible on a game (50 pieces and 2 Capstones for the 8x8 game), so you can just use as many as you need.

You can use the chart in https://ustak.org/play-beautiful-game-tak/ as a guide.

Can I adjust the board size and number of pieces? Just wondering if I need to do this manually or there is a place in game to manage it
