Custom Bind Sustained Damage

Description
The Viper King and Neonates have separate Bind and Bind Sustained damage values that are configurable.

The regular Viper does not.

This is now fixed. You can configure the Viper damage and sustained damage independently.

-= WHY USE THIS? =-

Viper_Bind_BaseDamage is now the initial bind damage only. It's part of the original game, and is already configurable in the base INI files.

This mod introduces a new variable, VIPER_BIND_SUSTAINDAMAGE, in it's own Mod INI files. This is the damage done by Viper Bind per round. By default it's the same as Viper_Bind_BaseDamage, but you can now change it so the Viper does more or less damage over time.

-= USAGE =-

If you don't intend to mod all types of snake's bind damage or sustained damage, this mod is perfectly useless for you, because it contains the game's default value.

To simulate constriction better, you could almost negate the initial damage and increase the sustained damage. It's what I do.

-= COMPATIBILITY =-

Any mod that tweaks Viper template assignation or that relies on the initial Viper Bind template will not work properly with this mod, such as the new Viper Elite enemy mod. Try to avoid other "Viper-Tweaking" mods that rely on overrides. You can try, it's not dangerous, in the worst case this mod will simply not work.

-= ALIEN HUNTERS COMPATIBILITY =-

This mod doesn't touch the Viper King or Neonate, so should be OK.

-= LW ALIEN PACK =-

This will also affect all Viper types from the Alien Pack.

-= LW2 COMPATIBILITY =-

Not fixed in LW2, compatible and required.

LW2 didnt fix the issue so this is still required

I'm sorry to have to ask, but would you mind clarifying what 'Not fixed in LW2, compatible and required.' means? I'm at a bit of a loss.. ':D The first half of the sentence makes me think it doesn't work, then the second half makes me think it does lol. I'd appreciate the help. (:

(And regardless of if it works for me in particular, I appreciate you thinking up this mod. I'm in the same camp as you, it makes much more sense for constriction to cause more sustained damage than initial.)

How do I remove the initial bind damage? I tried deleting the ; infront of the text that looks like a script and changing the 2 into 0 but it didn't change anything since a Viper and Neonate still does 2 damage.
