Units Stack Resizing

Description
You now have TWO options, use the pre-made files or edit your own and give yourself whatever limit you like.

APPOLOGIES THAT THIS ISNT POSSIBLE VIA A MOD, CA REMOVED THAT OPTION SOME TIME AGO. AND THEN SAW FIT TO REDUCE THE UNIT STACK SIZE AFTER STW TOO :(

MAKE YOUR OWN.

Visit this link and download the EditSF (kudos to daniu)

https://sourceforge.net/projects/packfilemanager/files/EditSF/EditSF%201.1.1.zip/download

Extract the folder and visit this link (Kudos RoninX2807)

https://sourceforge.net/projects/saveparser/files/EsfLibrary.zip/download

Extract this folder and add the EsfLibrary.dll into the folder for EditSF allowing the overwrite. This fixes the compatibility issues with warhammer.

The next step requires you have access to the AppData folder, this is a hidden folder. To show the folder on windows 10 type into cortana Folder options. Or right click start button, Control Pannel, appearance and personalisation, File explorer options. Click the view tab on the new box, and in the advanced settings window you will see a radial for: Show hidden files, folder and drives, click and apply.

you should now have a AppData folder at

C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData

the saves are contained within

C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer\save_games

Once you have found the save_game folder as above. You are ready to start the Game (with any mods you may want also) and load up a new campaign save it and exit the game. Might be a good idea to give the save a unique name.

Now open the EditSF you got earlier, click file, open and bowse to the save_game folder you uncovered earlier. Highlight your save file you just created and click open.

After a moment you will be presented with +Campaign_save_game in the left pane. expand this till you see Capaign_model, highlight it and in the right pane you will see (about 13 boxes down) 20, change this to whatever number you like. Not sure look at the second screen shot on this page.

Click file and save or save as if you want to rename it, that's it you are done. Start your game and enjoy your custom stack size.

***Warning I believe there is a Hardcap just like with unit sizes, I wouldn't recomend going over 40.***

PRE-MADE Compatability:

Should work with almost all mods, May have difficulty with mods that require a new game. With that in mind if you want mods as well, best to assume save compatible mods will be the best option.
The lower numbers may help with lower end systems that are currently struggling in 20 stack battles. And the higher numbers are for those that are not.

PRE-MADE: For those of you not confident making your own edits or finding hidden folders etc.

To install:

https://sabercathost.com/folder/3856/TWW_Files

Download the file required and the double click the "adding more units auto install.bat file. Just place the .bat and the save file(s) required in a folder by themselves and double click the .bat and they will be moved. (this will move the modded save files to your C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer\save_games Folder)

Uninstallation:

Unsubscribe, Start your game and delete the save files that all end with *# units*.

To start the game with the mod enabled:

Just start the game and choose whichever Nation and Leader you want from the Campaign Load option.

great idea but garrisons are not effected so sieges are not fair. and units that already fielded are not effected too. so idea is great but there are many balance issues.

@Rodrigo

It's for Navies. There aren't navies in TWW at the moment, of course, so it doesn't do anything at all right now.

How could I play this game all this time with only 20 units per lord?
Dude thanks a lot for the tip. The battles are much more epic now.
I have a question line 14 below line 13 (where we edit the number of units per lord) do you know what this line does?
She has the number 20 too so I assume it's something related to reinforcement in the field.
