Description
This version of the mod has a lesser spread of Chaos Corruption. Changes:
Normal settlements: +2 Chaos Corruption and +2 Chaos Osmosis
=> +2 Chaos Corruption and +1 Chaos Osmosis
Special capitals: +10 Chaos Corruption and +5 Chaos Osmosis
=> +6 Chaos Corruption and +3 Chaos Osmosis
As you can always resettle provinces in your own region, I did not touch regular corruption. Instead, Osmosis got reduced. Special capitals have also been reduced.

Original Mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=692399226
All compatibility issues have been resolved. Can now been used together with my other corruption mods; as a result, the mods combining the chaos and vampire effects have been removed.

Chaos Rifts, settlements razed by chaos or the norsca factions, will now spread Chaos Corruption.

All normal settlements and capital, when ruined, will leave behind a Chaos Rift which spreads +2 Chaos Corruption and +1 Chaos Corruption Osmosis (that is, +2 Chaos Chaos Corruption to neighbouring regions).

Certain region capitals are special, and as such have special ruins. Those Chaos Rifts spead +6 Chaos Corruption and +3 Chaos Corruption Osmosis.

Special capitals are:
Altdorf
Castle Drakenhof
Couronne
Karaz A Karak
Kislev
Miragliano
Black Crag

That's all the mod does.
Note that this is quite a hefty change; it should make your chaos campaigns a lot more fun, and your campaigns as other factions a lot more challenging. Does probably makes your chaos campaign a bit easier, as you will reinforce more troops in lands under chaos corruption.

If you enjoy the mod, please rate it and favorite it, so it gets more exposure :)

Now, go forth and spread the taint of chaos! Corrupt the lands!

PS: Can be turned on/off in the middle of a campaign without issues. Note however that even if you turn it off mid campaign, it will take a couple turns for Chaos Corruption to tick down, as per the normal influence mechanics.
PPS: Do not run concurrently with the other Chaos Rifts spread Chaos Corruption mod, as only one will take effect. Which one, I can not tell you.

Sorry guys, the mod is no longer being maintained at this point.

@Molay Hey man, your mod changes the language of some descriptions in the game. Can you fix it? Thanks!

Hey man, I LOVE that mod and was wordering if you could add the same effect on the Beast-men totem ?

Currently they add 2 chaos corruption but dont have any Osmosis. I think they could use a +1 (and +2 for the "non reduced effect mod).

Cheers.

I don't know how to update, for me the new DLC only releases tomorrow, at which point I can update. If you want to keep using the mod, just enable-out-of-date-mods in the launcher and activate it until I can update it (which just means reuploading the same thing so it doesn't throw the out-of-date error, but no changes to the mod anyway).

Just an FYI - I have a mod that replicates this & the similar vampiric ruins mod. Intended to fill the gap until a day where these are supported again. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=796161746

Great mod.
Only thing is could you maybe make it so the norscan tribes don't leave chaos rifts behind.
Or make a new mod for this? They annyoing enough as they are.
