Description
This simple mod edits the "Terra Incognita" effect (aka Fog of War) so that it isn't so bright or opaque. The most prominent effect of unexplored space is now the desaturation.

This should be compatible with just about anything, only the shader file is modified. It is safe to add/remove at will with no effect on save games and it's very likely that it will continue to function through updates even if I don't update the version number.


** The thin border shown in the first screenshot is not included in this mod.

Is this going to get updated to 1.8? It doesn't seem to be working properly atm. It makes things darker but doesn't hide anything.

I need it.

I don't think I can play stellaris without it.

Glad this mod is updated, I had to unsub from a different one that broke with an update and still isn't fixed (this was a few versions ago). I'm so glad you're working with the community to continue to support your mod!

Updated for 1.5, I didn't see anything that needed changing but the annoying warning will be gone
