Description
Faster, more stagger, more critical damage--now different weapon classes have advantages no others have!
Now all Elven and Glass weapons are faster than other weapons. All Dwarven, Forsworn and Ebony weapons stagger more than other weapons. All Orcish and Daedric weapons are more deadly than other weapons, when you score a critical hit. Swing and fire faster, or stun foes longer with power attacks, or finish them off quicker when you land a lucky critical hit. The choice is up to you and the weapon type you choose.

So it never made sense to me that the only difference between weapon material types was the base damage. I mean, Elven and Glass weapons are lighter than Iron and Steel weapons, so shouldn't they swing faster? Dwarven and Ebony are heavier than Iron and Steel, so shouldn't they produce more stagger effect? And look at the spikes on those Orcish and Daedric weapons! Shouldn't they deal a higher percentage of critical damage when you land a critical hit? Well, now with this mod, you can answer these question, yes, yes and yes! The mod also affects nearly all enchanted Elven, Glass, Dwarven, Forsworn, Ebony, Orcish and Daedric weapons, since they use the speed, stagger effect and critical damage of the unenchanted weapons.

CHANGES TO EACH WEAPON CLASS

❖ Speed Increases for Elven and Glass Weapons

✓ Elven and Glass Bows: Increased from 0.625 to 0.725 arrows fired a second
✓ Elven and Glass Daggers: Increased from 1.3 to 1.4 swings a second.
✓ Elven and Glass Swords: Increased from 1.0 to 1.1 swings a second.
✓ Elven and Glass War Axes: Increased from 1.0 to 1.1 swings a second.
✓ Elven and Glass Maces: Increased from 0.9 to 1.0 swings a second.
✓ Elven and Glass Greatswords: Increased from 0.8 to 0.9 swings a second.
✓ Elven and Glass Battleaxes: Increased from 0.7 to 0.8 swings a second.
✓ Elven and Glass Warhammers: Increased from 0.6 to 0.7 swings a second.

❖ Stagger Increases of 50% for Dwarven, Forsworn and Ebony Weapons

✓ Dwarven, Forsworn and Ebony Bows: Increased from 0 to 0.5 stagger.
✓ Dwarven and Ebony Daggers: Increased from 0 to 0.5 stagger.
✓ Dwarven, Forsworn and Ebony Swords: Increased from 0.75 to 1.125 stagger.
✓ Dwarven, Forsworn and Ebony War Axes: Increased from 0.85 to 1.275 stagger.
✓ Dwarven and Ebony Maces: Increased from 1.0 to 1.5 stagger.
✓ Dwarven and Ebony Greatswords: Increased from 1.1 to 1.65 stagger.
✓ Dwarven and Ebony Battleaxes: Increased from 1.15 to 1.725 stagger.
✓ Dwarven and Ebony Warhammers: Increased from 1.25 to 1.875 stagger.

❖ Critical Damage Increases of Up to 50% for Orcish and Daedric Weapons

✓ Orcish Bows: Increased from 5 to 7 extra damage.
✓ Daedric Bows: Increased from 9 to 13 extra damage.
✓ Orcish Daggers: Increased from 3 to 5 extra damage.
✓ Daedric Daggers: Increased from 5 to 7 extra damage.
✓ Orcish Swords: Increased from 4 to 6 extra damage.
✓ Daedric Swords: Increased from 7 to 10 extra damage.
✓ Orcish War Axes: Increased from 4 to 6 extra damage.
✓ Daedric War Axes: Increased from 7 to 10 extra damage.
✓ Orcish Maces: Increased from 5 to 7 extra damage.
✓ Daedric Maces: Increased increased from 8 to 12 extra damage.
✓ Orcish Greatswords: Increased from 9 to 13 extra damage.
✓ Daedric Greatswords: Increased from 12 to 18 extra damage.
✓ Orcish Battleaxes: Increased from 9 to 13 extra damage.
✓ Daedric Battleaxes: Increased from 12 to 18 extra damage.
✓ Orcish Warhammers: Increased from 10 to 15 extra damage.
✓ Daedric Warhammers: Increased from 13 to 19 extra damage.


ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

Q. Will the mod make the weapons I already have better?
A. Yes, it will improve the speed, or stagger effect or critical damage for the weapons listed, above.

Q. Will it improve enchanted weapons, too?
A. Yes, since they use the unenchanted weapons as a base, enchanted weapons will have the same improvements.

Q. What about the Blades sword and other weapons?
A. This mod improves those: WAR: Unique One-Handed Weapons.

Q. How much faster are Elven and Glass?
A. Enough to make it as fast as the next faster weapon. So elven and glass warhammers now swing as fast as battleaxes, elven and glass greatswords now swing as fast as maces, and elven and glass daggers now swing faster than any weapon in the game!

Q. How much is the stagger boost for Dwarven and Ebony?
A. It's exactly 50% more stagger than other weapons of the same type.

Q. How much is the critical damage boost for Orcish and Daedric?
A. Critical damage (or extra damage when you score a critical hit) for weapons is usually up to 50% the normal base damage. Critical damage for Orcish and Daedric weapons is now up to 75% the normal base damage (about 50% more).

Q. Why aren't Iron and Steel improved?
A. They're the norm by which other weapons are relatively enhanced.

Q. Why don't Ebony weapons swing fast as Glass?
A. Glass is lighter.

Q. Why don't Glass weapons stagger like Ebony?
A. Ebony is heavier.

Q. Why do Daedric weapons do more critical damage?
A. They have more badass spikes, so...

Kempf: Yeah, most of the enchanted weapons use the unenchanted ones as a template. So mods that change the unenchanted might conflict with this mod.

It looks like this mod is incompatible with "Dual Wield 2 Handed Weapons"(V1.3.3 atm)
i guess its because that mod changes the weapons directly
instead of adding a outstanding program/script(whatever :D) that alows us
to wield 2 handed weapons in one hand

just wanted to give some feedback for the incompatibility section

i prefer to use Dual Wield 2 Handed Weapons because... well...cuz compensation over 9000!(people who have read the description of the other mod will understand the wink :D)
but i would love to be able to use those 2 mods together
(even if i have no professional idea of how to do that)
Regardless of this i can still read and what the description says lets me come to the conclusion
that this a excelent mod for everyone who wants to have a more complex stat system than "weapon A does dmg and weapon b does next higher dmg etc"

in short: good job! :D
