Description
This is a brief platformer and editor. Mostly an editor. Please let me know what you think and what you would like to see added!

Editor Toggle: Press E
Editor Help Toggle: Press F1

Save map to file: Hold Ctrl + S
Load map from file: Hold Ctrl + L
Drag selected items: Hold left mouse on a selected item and drag it.
Clone selected items: Hold Ctrl and then drag
Cut, Copy, Paste: Hold Ctrl and press X, C or V
Grid Toggle: Press G
Snap Toggle: Press S
Create new instance: Hold shift and left mouse click
Deselect all items: Right mouse click
Change object of selected item: Hold shift and scroll mouse wheel
Zoom in or out: Scroll mouse wheel
Flip X and Y axis of selected items: Press X or Y
Create a new level: Hold Ctrl + N
Change image of object: Hold Ctrl and scroll mouse wheel (mostly to be used with background boxes)

Other editor features
- Auto save, save and load maps
- Save unlimited .map files and load them
- Save and load maps to files so you can save them as .map files
- Time saving boxes that you can stretch to auto fill them with blocks when you start the game.

Other than that its your typical shooter platformer.
- Controller support for the game
- WSAD + arrow keys + controller movement
- Shoot and run with enter, jump with space, esc for pause
- Exploding barrels
- Chunks flying
- Secrets behind solid blocks (good for caves)
- Destructible blocks with a variety of different ways to destroy them
- 13 types of enemies with a variety of ways to dispatch them
- F12 for a screenshot
- Ctrl + L to load a level

*** ALREADY IN FOR THE NEXT UPDATE *** THE TECHNICAL UPDATE

-Added more guns for maybe 8 of them.
-Fixed collision issues with items that pop out of boxes.
-Added a settings.ini that has a bunch of settings. There is no way to alter settings yet other than the file.
-Added window scaling.
-Added support for 1080p even if its designed to still look 400 x 240.
-Added character select menu.
-Added score system.
-Modified HUD to fit more.
-Added elaborate trees with branches and leaves to walk on.
-Added grass sway when touched by the player and enemies.
-Modified player run speed to move twice as fast.

*** UPDATE 8.1 *** FIXES

-Modified doors and ladders to use the W key as well as the up.
-Fixed quite an awesome glitch that let you slide through anything.
-Added 2 more help statements when the game starts.

*** UPDATE 8 *** THE 1-1 UPDATE

-Game now has 5 levels, some are quicker than others.
-Added screenshot with each map saved.
-Added ability for the game to load default.map on start. This is a big time saver for testing purposes.
-Added a grand effect to the exit that looks better and sucks the player in.
-Added ability for some blocks to be bopped upward from underneath. This can make collectables jump and enemies die.
-Modified wood blocks to be bopped from beneath.
-Added ability to kill enemies from bopping a block underneath them.
-Added ability for collectables to be collected when you bop a block into them.
-Added new brick to be bopped from underneath while old block destroys from underneath.
-Added new bounce blocks that will bounce you up or down accordingly.
-Modified collectables to float up when collected instead of float up and fall like a death.
-Added coins inside question blocks by default.
-Added more grass textures that will appear at random on the dirt.
-Added new mushroom collectable, that can rise from a block and get bopped from underneath where it jumps.
-Added new flower collectable that sits still.
-Added new star collectable that jumps. Collecting it makes you invincible for 10 seconds.
-Added invincibility which allows the player to stand on otherwise deadly non-living things such as death blocks and spikes.
-Modified invisible block to contain a coin and get bopped upward from below.
-Modified dirt tiles to be 4 tiles high so they show depth. Beyond 4 it goes forever.
-Modified resolution to be slightly larger to fit more into the screen.
-Added 7 new player sprites, but nothing is animated.
-Added new block sprites.
-Added pipe boxes to make pipes. Pipes will then generate and tile accordingly. You can have double wide or single wide pipes.
-Added pole boxes to make poles. Poles will tile themselves accordingly.
-Added a flag that you can grab onto and ride down to the end of the pole or a solid object. When a flag is used, a peace flag goes up in its place.
-Fixed enemy projectiles being fired backward when they face left.
-Added pipe and doorway exits. Pipe exit can be rotated indicating the direction the player has to press.
-Modified level save and load systems to be more universal to prevent data corruption between versions.
-Added the ability to put collectables inside anything destructible! Even enemies!
-Added the ability to select what map an exit will go to next.
-Modified level maps into their own levels/ directory.

According to my records around 45 hours over a 3 week period. 3 hours here, 8 hours there. Then from there an unpublished update I have 3 hours in. That update was going to be "the furry" update that lets you play as squirrels and bunnies to climb up trees.

Alright. Thanks :-) I just can't duplicate the issue and maybe I can duplicate it in the future. The safety check should help a lot though.

I was at the first bit, nowhere near the purple exit

But how far in it were you? A few seconds? Were you anywhere near the purple exit? Anyway I have added a new safe guard, that will hopefully correct any future problems with the next update.
