Required Mods and Props
Rainfall
Decal Prop Fix
Small Decal Drains

The new props can be difficult to see with certain pavement colors I recommend
Roads United: Core+ and altering the brightness of the pavement so that you can see the decals. I thought these decals where an improvement over the old props because the decals follow the surface of the road rather than hovering over it. Anarchy is recommended for placing on top of roads but The Move It! mod with Snapping options allows for inlets to be perfectly snapped onto roads. That method does not require anarchy.

Collects storm water. Requires gravity flow to outlet. Does not require nor conduct electricity.

Inlet Capacity: 1875 units
Cost: 250
Upkeep: 1.92/week
Electricity: 0 KW

Build your inlets at the low points in your development before drawing the water pipes. The inlets can be placed freely but will snap roadside if you hold alt. I also Recommend using anarchy to place on top of roads or underwater.

Gravity Flow generally means that if you want water to flow from an inlet to this outlet the elevation of the inlet must be higher than the outlet, but that will depend on the Gravity Drainage Settings of Rainfall. See Rainfall Beta Guide.

Must be connected to your sewer and water system but only requires 1 water and 1 sewage. It does not contribute to the water or sewage because storm drain water is kept separate.

Storm Drain Inlets and Pumps direct any storm water that is collected to Underground Detention Basins within the same district first, and then to Gravity Storm Drain Outlets and SD Force Main Outlets in the same district once the Detention Basins have reached 80% filled. Anything not included in a district is actually in District 0.

Problems and How to Fix Them

Line Not Connected - You don't have any outlets/detention basins in the same district. Add an outlet/detention basin in this district or move the inlet to another district with an outlet/detention basin.

Landfill Full - There is not enough outlet/detention capacity within this district. Build additional outlets/detention basins or wait for the storm to lessen.

No Place For Goods - Cannot gravity drain to outlet. You must either build a lower gravity storm drain outlet, a detention basin, or a SD Force Main outlet.

Special Thanks
Special Thanks to Ronxy69 for the Prop.

Special Thanks to Snow_Cat because without Asset AI Changer & Asset UI Priority Changer, the storm drain assets would not have been possible.

@BevansDesign Yea the person that made that asset "ragequit" the workshop I think. It wasn't so bad that he removed the stuff but he did that so people wouldn't bother him anymore. It still works. I think that creator publishes their stuff somewhere else now.

These work, but it looks like the decals that they use are broken or something. Their description says "outdated release".

@TheMightyPilot You will need an anarchy mod. and to have anarchy enabled. I believe the current version is Fine road anarchy 2.0.2 by Kyte45

I seem to have an issue with destroyed roads not being able to be repaired because this item is in the way (even wether or not the drain has been rebuilt).

@DinoDude777 You must subscribe to and have activated the Rainfall mod in order to use this asset. It is dependent on the mod for its coding.

@Devil Wolf
Update should be out shortly. . .
-Fixed Outlets on canals.
-Inlets can now be placed on roads without anarchy.
-Automatic Lateral Creation. (Pipe connects inlet/outlet to nearest pipe network if within range)
Note. I just realized I didn't account for heating pipes when determining the minimum distance to automatically create laterals. If you use heating pipes make sure that your inlet has enough room to create the pipe or else it may be difficult to delete. I think there are better bulldozer mods that can help with this.
-Parking Lot Roads (DummyBuildingAI) now set to 0 runoff coefficient. I will turn this into a slider upon popular demand.
Hope this helps. :)
