@BevansDesign Yea the person that made that asset "ragequit" the workshop I think. It wasn't so bad that he removed the stuff but he did that so people wouldn't bother him anymore. It still works. I think that creator publishes their stuff somewhere else now.

These work, but it looks like the decals that they use are broken or something. Their description says "outdated release".

@TheMightyPilot You will need an anarchy mod. and to have anarchy enabled. I believe the current version is Fine road anarchy 2.0.2 by Kyte45
TheMightyPilot 12 Sep, 2020 @ 6:42pm
I seem to have an issue with destroyed roads not being able to be repaired because this item is in the way (even wether or not the drain has been rebuilt).

But i did

@DinoDude777 You must subscribe to and have activated the Rainfall mod in order to use this asset. It is dependent on the mod for its coding.
DinoDude777 24 May, 2019 @ 3:49am
I keep getting this error when i place one Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException]

okay then but idk I am making a copy of my current city that I live in so the drain does make it a bit better

@Devil Wolf
Update should be out shortly. . .
-Fixed Outlets on canals.
-Inlets can now be placed on roads without anarchy.
-Automatic Lateral Creation. (Pipe connects inlet/outlet to nearest pipe network if within range)
Note. I just realized I didn't account for heating pipes when determining the minimum distance to automatically create laterals. If you use heating pipes make sure that your inlet has enough room to create the pipe or else it may be difficult to delete. I think there are better bulldozer mods that can help with this.
-Parking Lot Roads (DummyBuildingAI) now set to 0 runoff coefficient. I will turn this into a slider upon popular demand.
Hope this helps. :)

uh okay
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 1 Dec, 2018 @ 10:54pm
@Devil Wolf You will really like the next update then. I just need to find some time to get it ready and upload it.
Paradinse 1 Dec, 2018 @ 1:14pm
Im commeting to other people that read Comments before downloading because it takes like 3-3 steps to make alot of people won't read the info about it
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 1 Dec, 2018 @ 7:00am
@Devil wolf what is the problem you are having?
Paradinse 29 Nov, 2018 @ 9:31am
All i want is somthing easy to use this is not it don't get it if your not good with things that take alot of steps to make
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 17 Apr, 2017 @ 10:38am
@H.F.von Tiesenhausen Most anarchy mods have a toggle that turns the effect on and off. It's more than just using the mod. I recommend fine road anarchy. Chirpy will be on fire when anarchy is enabled and regular when not.
Sten 17 Apr, 2017 @ 9:43am
I have the Anarchy enabled but i cant place anyting on roads :(
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 25 Mar, 2017 @ 4:02pm
Updated with new props. Make sure you have the new props and mod.

@Black | Ar3Man [HK] If you make one that uses storm grate 1 instead of storm grate 2 then it will be at the terrain surface, but hard to see. I don't create models, I only use things that other people make for me. The person that did these did what he thought was best, and I'm very grateful because they look way better than I used before. If you want something different, I suggest you learn how to and create it yourself.
Ar3Man 27 Feb, 2017 @ 7:19am
The out let still 1m higher than the ground suface, any way to fix that,
I hread another guy suggest 1/4 size is better, i am totally agree with that if is too small u might able to add some road color texture surround the inlet could fix too small problem too
xxx78 31 Dec, 2016 @ 12:28pm
@yenyang thanks, that fixed it :)
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 30 Dec, 2016 @ 8:43pm
@toreaaboe that means. - Cannot gravity drain to outlet. You must either build a lower gravity storm drain outlet, a detention basin, or a SD Force Main outlet.
xxx78 28 Dec, 2016 @ 5:48am
This mod is fantastic, thanks for sharing.
Feedback:
When I place this inlet in industrial zone I get this ingame message:
"Not enough buyers for this products!"
I have no idea why this happens but it is a little annoying.
Happy holidays :)
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 5 Nov, 2016 @ 5:55pm
I changed the prop so if it looks like all your storm drain inlets disappeared its because you aren't subscribed to the new prop. The old prop is used for the bubble up outlet instead.

@Ars Techne I see. This collection has the mods that I recommend you use with Rainfall. It includes two forms of anarchy: Advanced Road Anarchy and Sharp Junction Angles . They are very useful and even more useful when using Fine Road Tool]/url]
Ars Techne 7 Sep, 2016 @ 2:01pm
Yes, my eyes must of skipped the beginning of the post. I swear im partially dyslexic sometimes
Ars Techne 7 Sep, 2016 @ 1:58pm
I dont actually use anarchy XD

I know it would help a lot in most of what I do, but I'm hesitant to use such a powerful mod
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 7 Sep, 2016 @ 8:39am
@Ars Techne Oh I think I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you were talking about using a prop verses a model, but you're talking about fixed placement vs free placement. It wouldn't be difficult to come up with that type of placement, but Are you using anarchy to place the inlets on top of the streets the way that I do in the screenshots?
Ars Techne 7 Sep, 2016 @ 8:32am
@[SSU]yenyang Thats a shame, and I wish I could help. I have a natural ability to read and identify good code, but this requires source material to pull from. But based what it sounds like, you cant give a road snaping structure, say a park, the Inlets structure/texture. Oh, maybe if you colaborated with a modder thats made 1x1 parks or service structures? I don't know, I just want to help because I like the idea of this mod. I've been having a lot of fun with it despite the extra work to getting the inlets to place well
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 6 Sep, 2016 @ 4:43pm
@Ars Techne I like the idea of the inlet being a 'structure' instead of a prop but I don't know how to do that. I used somebody else's prop because I can't doy own modeling and I was lucky that the prop was available. I will not be making intersections become drains but i may implement a 'casual' or easy mode that doesn't model storm drainage or require inlets but still requires you build outlets and/or basins. The stormwater would be 'collected' by each building instead and it will feel more like a vanilla service. You should be able to rotate the drains but they are not visible while doing it because of the prop issue.
Ars Techne 5 Sep, 2016 @ 9:13pm
I think changing the inlet from a prop to a structure that can snap to roads but doesnt require them would help. Or make it so intersections gain the ability of draining (piggybacking of pedestrian crossings mod idea) with the prop version. This will help i think because in my game the drains are messy, not being able to fit neatly next to roads (due to them locking rotation to XY) and looking more like eyesores.

I like this mod but because of this it is a little difficult to use

Soldyne has fixed the LOD, some screenshots showing the Purple/Pink LOD are out-of-date.
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 11 Jul, 2016 @ 1:03pm
@GordonDry The prop model is by soldyne. I didn't create the prop and do not know how to fix the LOD.
GordonDry 11 Jul, 2016 @ 8:04am
The LOD is pinkish.
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 10 Jul, 2016 @ 6:09pm
@soldyne Thanks, and Thank you for making it.
soldyne 10 Jul, 2016 @ 10:10am
very nice use of the prop. :)
[SSU]yenyang  [author] 6 Jun, 2016 @ 7:27am
@HasuneKid You may need to download Soldyne's Storm Drain there's a link in the page I will add the required dependency thanks for letting me know.
HatsuneKid 5 Jun, 2016 @ 11:54pm
Missing prop. I just saw a concrete ground.
