IMPORTANT TO KNOW

What is "limited use"
These voice lines will work only on local servers and dedicated servers where this add-on is installed, and in single player. They CANNOT WORK on official Valve servers!

Miscellaneous menus
Some voice lines in these menus work only for L4D1 and some only for L4D2 characters.

Some voice lines can't always work
For some lines to work, certain conditions have to be met (for example, you must not be in fight). Also, many voice lines are not available in Scavenge and Survival.

When can't go idle
You can't go idle if you are the only player, or if all other players are already idle.

Note on switching characters
After switching characters, you will need to select your new character again to properly mount all of its character-specific menus.

Vocalizer in Versus and Scavenge on official servers
All add-ons are disabled when playing competitive modes on official Valve servers. However, you can follow my guide to make the vocalizer work there.

DEDICATED SERVER INSTALLATION
(for server admins only)

Install the add-on on your server, so players can use all radial menus and all responses:
  1. Download my vocalizer from GameMaps[www.gamemaps.com]
  2. Put the VPK file in \left4dead2\addons
  3. Restart your server

its weird sense half of them wont work for me
ion  [author] 10 Jul @ 6:30am
@monkestar: That's possible only by changing talker which automatically means "limited use" new line (if you want to have only one specific voice line).

@KevinLevroneBoy200: Ellis stories are a "limited use" line. Read about them in the description.

Is there a way to make only one voice come out from an line that has multiple voices? (e.g. louis's scream)

How difficult would it be to combine the 2 base vocalizers into one
ion  [author] 7 Jul @ 4:11am
@braverewe26: That would be similar to making all available radial menus through single button. It would require total rework of menus with a risk of angering the vast majority of current users who use vocalizers with keyboard and mouse. In short, even if possible, sorry but it won't happen.

Hi, this is a pretty specific request, but when someone uses Steam Input to configure a controller, they can map it so that pressing down the left stick (L3) opens one of the two default radial vocalizer menus. Then, they can use the right stick (R3) to select a voice line—for example, the 'hurry' command. The sequence would is: Hold L3 to open the menu, use R3 to select, then release L3 to confirm and speak.

What I'd like to ask is if it's possible to set up a button that replaces one of the default menus with a cycle function allowing you to cycle through all available menus and then select a voice line from there. If this is doable, I'd really appreciate it.

@Sōya あざしろ: You have conflicting add-on or you're playing game mode where add-ons are disabled by default (Versus, Scavenge). There's nothing to be fixed here on my side.

Why Is The Radial Menu Is Gone on The Settings? I Wanted To Try Something Out, And The Radial Menu Section Is Gone, Pls fix

@Ion: Oh I see, thanks for replying. I did set up the keybinding like you suggested, I just wondering how other people keep spamming survivor's name sound even though they are out of range and out of sight
