@monkestar: That's possible only by changing talker which automatically means "limited use" new line (if you want to have only one specific voice line).

@braverewe26: That would be similar to making all available radial menus through single button. It would require total rework of menus with a risk of angering the vast majority of current users who use vocalizers with keyboard and mouse. In short, even if possible, sorry but it won't happen.

Hi, this is a pretty specific request, but when someone uses Steam Input to configure a controller, they can map it so that pressing down the left stick (L3) opens one of the two default radial vocalizer menus. Then, they can use the right stick (R3) to select a voice line—for example, the 'hurry' command. The sequence would is: Hold L3 to open the menu, use R3 to select, then release L3 to confirm and speak.

What I'd like to ask is if it's possible to set up a button that replaces one of the default menus with a cycle function allowing you to cycle through all available menus and then select a voice line from there. If this is doable, I'd really appreciate it.

@Sōya あざしろ: You have conflicting add-on or you're playing game mode where add-ons are disabled by default (Versus, Scavenge). There's nothing to be fixed here on my side.

vocalizer doesn't work when i join versus games. Is there anyway you could help me out with this?

@Ryuventus Decimo: First, you haven't said if you even properly set up the keybinding for that menu. Second, it is used for selecting which character-specific menus will show up, not for calling out survivors' names.

What is the Keybind for the 13th one?

This is a fantastic Vocalizer mod that I have kept and been using since the year it released due to it's great diversity and usefulness.
However, It does have 1 major downside within it, As alot of the lines cannot be used at all unless on a Local or none survival server.

So as a player that almost only plays Survival mode it is pretty saddening that most are completely unusable.
(Still a great mod nonetheless though, And I highly recommend for anyone to use)

@Itzλbird: Looks like something on your side. It may be a modified talker you have installed which changes or even removes some of the lines.

guys i cant use some dialogues like "what?" for l4d2 survivors but i can use them normally on l4d1 survivors i always play on my local servers i host and when i sometimes join other local servers i can use them normally on all survivors too

@Mr.N0sf3ratu: There is no such feature in my vocalizer. Although it would be possible to achieve that with custom code, I have no plans to add such spammy feature.

If there is a way to controlling bot voice lines while not using them becuase I seen spammer can done something like this

Voc is indeed one of a kind and unique.
It allows you to breathe life into charachter. Very few games have that.
And it requires Xtra skill to use it properly.

That said, it is for hardcore fans only.

@smokeythecat5175: Press and hold the key for Character selection menu and choose your current character. After that, you'll be able to use its character-specific menus. It's explained in HOW TO USE section above.

I'm doing this on my laptop and none of the character specific menus will even pop up at all, is there a way to fix this?

nvm its fixed, still don't understand how to get vocalizer on same level as left4dead2 folder sigh

This mod ruined my left for dead 2 experience and I cant play online and offline games after reinstalling the game and verifying game files. All steps are followed to use vocalizer in versus, my computer is still safe even with windows security. Is this a virus?

@Moon: Try changing the order of say and vocalize commands and/or don't use space after ; character.

I put the say command in the mod, but random numbers appear next to it, #456 ... #985, etc.

Why do random numbers appear?
