** Now compatible with LongWar2 **

This project was just some HUD enhancement dream(s) for awhile and nearly as much, also UC script encoding nightmare(s). Then.. while (last week) a wildly coincidental (Thanks to a chat with ObelixDK) thunderbolt struck an-atomically dispersed neural memories, i recalled how the LW-Pedia_DB Mod concept was handled to try limiting any cumbersome development mechanics; by exploiting (if & when possible) the Localization files HTML formatting features.

What follows are the results... still in bits, parts & pieces and yet -- now yours!


INSTALLATION

You could replace the regional XCom style Logos with ADvent inspired graphics. It's easy.. just copy/paste the XComGame.INT file(s) of your choice from the included (XC2_Squared) sub-directories to change the current "default" in the Localization directory root.

A new set (LW2_Medium folder) is now given to squeeze nicely into the Long-War Haven banners. The XCom2 AD+XC Logos version were simply "compressed" @64x40 to prevent some HUD interferences with their strings custom formatting.

** Note that the new "Wired" CB symbol (XC2 Lock&Load, in fact) can only be inserted by my other mod qUIck_LW2 since the INT structural paths are different with LW2. The "QuidProQuo" tooltip swap of Intel for Supply will also have be done by it.

CURRENT ISSUES

1) Here, i'll admit again... i'm a Hack freak! I had to use HTML text strings to achieve that gimmicky process. It's a (temporary) compromise really worth the consequences, AFAIC.
The effects are relatively complex and may seem wacky at first. Give it time.. certain popups or the whole Geoscape at once -- it becomes a matter of "opinion" or patience until i can (or would) grab a Plasma Launcher Flash decoder to jump right into the next section (FUTURE) tasks!

2) Share your thoughts, observations, remarks. I might just consider or prioritize any of them, eventually.


FUTURE PLANS

Honestly, just (finally) coding the whole dynamic & interactive features in proper Flash-GFX HUD assets while removing the currently "intrusive" Logos that appears via external strings & INTo special screens.

UPDATES

(29/07) #1) It was somehow hard for me to slightly reduce the Images size.. but it really is for the best, both visually & to help (very much) with any further development. Soooooo -- Bonuses go from 64x64 to 48x48 & Regions are now 64x64 instead of 80x80.

(11/02/17) #2) Compatibility assets for Long-War2.

Sooooooo -- for now, let's put some fancy stuff on that stale but still familiar ## Geosc-Ape ##.. Shall we?! :)

There's nothing wrong, AFAIC.

But i know that LWotc creates various conflicts to many other mods like mine.
Their lazy "product" might require multiple updates to prevent such issues.
Besides, the modding community (for most of us in general) gave up on fixing anybody else coding **flaws** for XCom2.

"GeoscApps" still works perfectly fine here.

This is the default name used by Firaxis .. this mod only follows that text choice. ;)

@zyxpsilon Hey did those haven banners ever get fixed? They still appear empy on my end. I'm using LW2.
