Description
A HUD icon for the scoped Ruger Mini-14 GB with a plastic stock (textured like a wooden, though).

Type: Flash outline (artwork unfinished)

This addon replaces SCRIPTS (changes the icon)! That means if a server is enforcing consistency, you may get kicked. Disable this mod if you have trouble with joining servers.

Ah, that makes sense, I was curious to as though why some of the mods that replaced the CS:S weapons had the hud put into the mod.

Alright, well, may I friend you and then I can send my Email to you? I'd rather not put it into the comment section where everyone could see it. Whenever you can or are ready, you can send me the VPK then.

The problem is, this is the same script file that contains the icon location and dimensions. Two mods containing the same file will "conflict", and in case of scripts can cause crashing. The only way to have the icon is to include it in the original mod.

I have to contact (and annoy) the creators of such mods over small things only a few people care for. So far, only two creators agreed to update their mods with my icons. Rocky ain't one of 'em.

Anyway, I can e-mail or Dropbox you the compiled VPK with an icon.

The CSS weapon compiles include scripts, due to how the animations are treated. They are built left-handed as Minh "Gooseman" Le, the original animations creator for Counter-Strike, was a lefty. He might have started this videogame trend of left-sided ejection ports. Not my point.

The point is, all weapon animations in Left 4 Dead are right-handed, except the ported CSS weapons. The default scripts of these guns therefore have a special line that fixes it.

No, that's still not the point. When you compile right-handed SA80 anims for right-handed M16 or AK, you don't have to edit the scripts. But if you do so for the left-handed SG552 anims, you'll have to change that single line.

Hey Alex, if you have any spare time, there's a gun mod that hasn't had a hud created for it yet. It would be awesome if you could make one for this gun here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=423388042 Oddly enough, the mod itself has three variants for the M16, AK-47 and the SG552 but only hud mods have been created for the M16 and AK-47 versions.

In a manner similar to M14 from CoD Black Ops, the gun is modelled with a synthetic stock (complete with appropriate checker-patterns), but has wooden textures by default. Applying camo makes it synthetic. Compare:

The stock isn't plastic, that's just poor-quality vmt setup
