Blue 2 - Refit

Description
Blue 2
The Blue 2 is an iconic ship that anyone who has ever played Space Engineers will recognize. As we get new patches the ship would be updated form time to time, to show off new features. While all these changes added new features to the ship, they were hastily added (because KSH has a game to make). So I decided it was about time to give this classic ship a proper refit.

Blue 2 - Refit
To give the ship a new fresh look I went back to Update 1.071 and decide to use the blue ship in the video as a starting point. I totally redid the exterior armor, gutted and redid the inside. The ship has the exact same layout internally but with a ton of added features! The goal as always was to stay as close to the original design as possible while adding new functionality and a better layout.

What's New

- 1x Refinery (totally upgraded - 1 productivity, 2 efficiency, 1 power modules)
- 1x Arc Furnace
- 2x Assemblers ( 50% upgraded - 2 productivity modules per assembler)
- 4x gyroscopes (up from 2, gives the ship slight improvement on maneuverability)
- 1x Projector (for repair)
- 2x Gatling Turrets (up from 1)
- 3x Interior Turrets (2 added to rear for point defense)

- Replace all doors with new sliding doors
- All rooms are pressurized (including the catwalk, and cargo areas)
- Total overhaul of the hangar pressurization system
- Plus as a bonus Battle Station and All Clear System have been added

Hangar
The hangar is one block wider than the original, it gives you just a little bit of extra room you always needed. The entire hangar can be pressurized or depressurized at the push of a button. Button panels have been added inside and outside the hangar doors.

Plus there is a sensor, that if a small ship flies up to the door the hangar will open and once the ship is inside the hangar door will close.

And the lighting changes depending on whether the hanger is open or closed. Blue lighting when the doors are open, and white lighting when the doors are closed.

Also the hangar oxygen system is separate from the rest of the ship, so if you need to add air to the hangar simply open the airlock between the hangar and the catwalk.

And last but no least there is a safety feature to prevent you from depressurizing the entire ship when opening the hangar door. When you trigger the doors to open, the timer block will close all door on the ship as a precaution.

A Red Ship refit is in the works, given the ships unique design its more of a challenge than the last one.

Looks cool. Red ship refit in the works? I did one myself, but only balanced it a bit better than stock, tried not to make aestetic changes.

This is a pretty nice refit. The shape of it looks a lot better and it's more appealing to the eye than the original frankly speaking. Good job.
