    • Eventually... probably...
  • Why is Democratic now called Liberalism?
    • This change was done in the early stages of the mod at the request of many commentators. Calling the ideology "democratic" implies the other ideologies cannot be democratic. Liberalism, in the traditional (i.e., not American) sense, means a supporter of individual liberties and capitalism. Therefore, in this sense, even conservatives are Liberals.
  • Why is the ideology called Socialism instead of Anarchism or something else?
    • In political philosophy, socialism refers to any ideology that supports collective control over the means of production. In game, socialism is a group of far-left ideologies not associated with Leninism. Therefore, in-game socialism includes all forms of anarchism, council communism, democratic socialism, and more. It would not make sense to call the ideology "Anarchism" if it includes forms of Marxism and democratic socialism.
  • Why is Communism called Leninism?
    • The Socialist ideology includes forms of communism so it wouldn't make sense to keep it called Communism. It is called Leninism because it now just includes forms of socialism associated with Lenin (e.g., Trotskyism, Maoism, Marxism-Leninism, etc.)
  • Why is Neutrality still an ideology?
    • Eventually, it will be removed. It takes more effort than you'd think it would to remove an ideology.
  • Why does the mod show as "Salty Anarchist Mod" in my launcher instead of something else?
    • Originally, the mod only included anarchism. The mod expanded in scope to include other forms of libertarian socialism and monarchism. I cannot change the name without reuploading the mod and making everyone resubscribe.
  • Why are monarchies purple and socialists black?
    • Purple has been associated with royalty since the Roman Empire. On the other hand, yellow is the traditional color of Liberalism. Socialists are black because that is the traditional color of anarchism and red was already taken by Leninism.
  • Why isn't the UK monarchist?
    • The portrait you see as the head of government rather than the head of state. The monarch is the head of state while the Prime Minister is the head of government.
    • It would break the balance of the game. The US would not be able to join the Allies due to their idea, "Home of the Free," and liberal countries wouldn't want to join the Allies when the Axis/Comintern declares war on them.
    • The monarchy didn't have much power anyway in the time period (e.g., King Edward VIII's abdication).
  • I'm a salty ancap. Why isn't anarcho-capitalism included in the mod?
    • Anarcho-capitalism wasn't an ideology until around the 1970s, well outside of the game's timeframe.
    • No, just no.

Title photo is accurate. Ideology is the same as religion, and religion is theocracy, if not of man then of man's ideas. We all share the fact of being, equal in this with everything, one with that in "God"(s). It is your highest ideal separate from the physical world you will depart. Meta-physical ideologies or ontological arguments, it's just time for the second enlightenment, so we can go back as we are to free flowing matter, energy, inertia, and spirit working with everything as best as we can to minimize the bottlenecks we make, and spread good as far and as much as we can.

Do not delete neutrality as an ideology, just because there isn't anarchism or monarchism does not mean that military rule, oligarchies, and non-liberal democracies should be deleted.

most ancaps i know are quick to point out that corporations are a product of the state, dont misrepresent their position
