V1.2Providing a challenge even to Democracy veterans, this mod places you in charge of a cyberpunk dystopia-or at least youre theoretically in charge: gangs run the streets, hackers dominate cyberspace, and the megacorp oligarchs consider you their puppet.

Version 1.1 Adds transhuman augmentation.  
Version 1.2 Adds two new scenarios, tweaks the Novgorod scenario, and adds more factors and effects to Oligarch Favor. See change log for details.

New Simulation Features:  
Oligarch Favor- How pleased the megacorp plutocrats are with your rule, and so whether they will turn their media, economic, and security influence for or against you, perhaps lethally.  
Transhuman Augmentation- The degree of biological, cybernetic, and nanotechnological modification in your society. Has many effects, most notably an economic boost at the cost of inequality, greater cyber-threats, and religious/conservative anger.  

13 New Policies, Including:  
Augmentation Law- The degree to which your government allows augmentation.  
Augmented Law Enforcement- Enhance your security services with cybernetic limbs, genetic tweaks, and advanced stimulants. Effective for cleaning up the streets and internet, but highly unpopular among both civil rights and anti-augmentation activists.  
Megacorp Cyberdefense Contract- Strengthen your connection with the megacorp oligarchs by contracting out your cybersecurity contracts. Surely you can trust them.  
Anti-Eco Propaganda- With the ecosystem well past repair you can use advanced sociological manipulation techniques to promote misinformation and apathy about the environment.  
Assert Sovereignty- Seize power from the oligarchs and establish your country as a truly independent nation—if you survive the revolution.

4 Scenarios:
North American Federation: The N.A.F. has been a puppet of the megacorp oligarchs for decades, providing a veneer of legitimacy to their corporate plunderings. You're expected to be just another bureaucratic scapegoat to be tossed aside when the people tire of you. Will you prove them wrong?
The Principality of Novgorod: As global warming cleared the icecaps, Novgorod found itself a powerful and prosperous center of trade along the Polar shipping lanes. Like most post-Russian states, Novgorod legitimizes itself with the support of both the megacorp oligarchs and the Eastern Orthodox Church. While this relationship has long provided stability, Church opposition to augmentation has complicated it to say the least.
Cascadian Confederacy: Emerging in the wake of U.S. and Canadian collapse, Cascadia lightly governs a large and diverse swathe of territory and people, united chiefly by their desire for independence from outsiders, which has led them to restrict (though not fully reject) the influence of the megacorporations.
Korean Technosocialist Republic: The reunified Korea is one of the few governments truly independent of megacorp influence-and the oligarchs are intent upon making an example of it for others who would consider defiance. As if enemies at the gate weren't sufficient, the country is also being steadily crushed under the weight of its own bureaucracy.
